  1. Dude thats awesome! I remember Bruce and Bennett used to tell each other "Let's meet at the quarterback" I think we finally have some current D-lineman who share that same philosophy!
  2. Yup and I am hoping we start to see this become a new trend with the Bills now in this new era under Pegula. Exciting times to be a Bills fan again!
  3. Yeah I think its very cool in today's era he played for one team his entire career. I can see why he is such a fan favorite in Pittsburgh
  4. His game was the complete package, great coverage skills, insane closing speed to play the run, great instincts, could hit like a freight train
  5. He was a gamer no doubt, glad he got to win a Super Bowl. He will be missed
  6. Love the guy, he is everything you dream of as a guy you want suiting up in the red, white, and blue. He is a perfect fit for Buffalo and def one of my favorite players during the playoff drought years, I really hope he gets to enjoy some success these next few years...could be the modern day Darryl Talley
  7. Looks more like a college uniform IMO...but then again more acceptable than the Arena Football Look of the Jaguars and Buccaneers
  8. Yea well if I made that one handed tip catch on Sunday Night football with everyone watching then I would be getting the hype. I mean seriously your point is if somebody else made the play then they would be the one getting the media attention, I love messageboard logic.
  9. It was clear he wasn't 100% from Day 1 last season going back to that rib injury he initially suffered. The crazy thing is even with how good he looked as a rookie I think he still has so much more to offer and he is going to be an All Pro, when you see the lack of talent in this year's draft I think Whaley pulled the right move by trading this years first
  10. Watch the link I posted above, the Deion Sanders play was when he made a shoestring tackle on primetime
  11. Agreed, wanted to get season tickets this year but the lower level is completely sold out already which is where I prefer to sit. This means tickets on the black market will be going for 4-5 times more than face value(as long as the Bills don't completely **** the bed which I don't see happening this year). Don't get me wrong I will still attend a few games but realistically I won't be able to afford tickets to every home game this year and like I said if this season ends up being as exciting as its being hyped up to be I'm gonna wanna soak up every second of the atmosphere in Orchard Park. Ok great this is the answer I was looking for. I remember reading somewhere there's actually a group of regulars that prefer watching the games there than ever actually going inside the stadium
  12. Since getting Bills tickets at a reasonable price isn't going to be a reality this year I'm trying to find a solid plan B for an exciting place to catch alot of the games. I've been to the Big Tree and its a great bar but I've never been there for a game. Anybody on here ever go there to watch the games? Seeing as its kind of a smaller place I'd be worried it would be too crowded and they don't have a ton of tv's
  13. For the young whippersnappers who never saw this man play
  14. There are a lot of legendary stories out there about Jimbo and Company hitting the bars on a regular basis during the Fredonia days. Of course it was a different era and a different time, I'm not sure to what level players nowadays can get away with compared to back then but your naïve if you think players don't enjoy going out for a cold one or two on their own personal time just as much as the rest of us
  15. Agreed. A true legend. Have you ever seen his Hall of Fame induction speech? Brilliant
  16. When the time comes feel free to private message me...Please and thanks
  17. Sorry for your loss. He sounded like a great guy...I enjoyed reading your tribute, just know that his spirit will live on with you for the rest of your life.
  18. Thanks Ralph for keeping your word until the end about keeping the Bills in Buffalo! Much respect for being a man of your word and never selling out to the corporate aspect of this league
  19. I already missed the boat ...entire 100 level already sold out with season tickets
  20. Monsoon and especially Bobby Heenan were greats too. Vince McMahon as a commentator is actually very underrated too. As silly as professional wrestling is, I was being dead serious when I brought up Jim Ross and you could throw in these other guys as well. Those guys were great at what they do, would love to hear them calling some football games
