  1. I have a gut feeling Pittsburgh could end up going from the AFC
  2. That ending was cool and all but I was alittle disappointed after hearing there was this amazing surprise ending because that scenario where Norwood's kick being doctored to going through the upright and Van Miller calling the Bills Super Bowl win had already been done exactly the same going all the way back to the 1991 Buffalo Bills highlight film
  3. FWIW in some of the articles I've read the Bickering Bills stuff is brought up in the film, Thurman also talks about the lost helmet incident in Super Bowl 26. When it comes down to it there are just too many realities regarding the things that went wrong during those years as well for them to not present that part of the story. I do think the partying stuff gets swept under the rug though
  4. Not at all on my part, I'm super excited for this 30 for 30 and have actually been wanting to see a 30 for 30 on this subject since the series started, I'm still almost kind of shocked this became a reality. There is so much more to those Bills teams than the partying off the field and I can't wait to enjoy every minute of it. My point was that IT IS part of the story however and I just don't think any of that is going to be looked at in this documentary. I disagree with those saying its all going to be cheerful and gloss over the negative parts of losing four Super Bowls. I guarantee there will be some painful stuff to endure as well
  5. Yeah with the Bills players from that era its very interesting to me. There were always alot of stories about the likes of Lawrence Taylor and alot of the 90s Cowboys players, etc. but the Bills never had any of their shenanigans leak out publicly. I think the only reason Bills fans know how crazy things were behind the scenes is because of how small a town Buffalo really is and a lot of fans witnessed the Bills partying their ass off firsthand. I know of at least one guy I trust 100% who saw guys out the nignt before the first Dallas Super Bowl at 4am getting after it and I've heard countless other secondhand stories over the years.
  6. I was hoping this documentary would actually call them out on the hard partying before the bowls, but I listened to an interview with the director of the film on Shred and Ragan this morning(local Buffalo radio talkshow for those not in WNY) and he brought up how the film does ask the question why didn't they win one of them and then either Shred or Ragan commented about the partying and the director kind of just glossed right over that and started talking about the opponents and the mental struggles after losing the first couple, etc....doesn't sound like that topic will be addressed at all in this
  7. Do you know if this will be the lot Pinto Ron will be tailgating in as well?
  8. I remember him talking about playing basketball with TO during the offseasons during his NFL career
  9. All I know is I wasted mid round draft picks on Spiller in two fantasy leagues this year
  10. Will be interesting to see if they get into that aspect at all, for the most part the tales of the Bills hard partying ways haven't been documented publicly but alot of these 30 for 30's really get down to the gritty topics. Also noticed that it is going to be two hours long, so I think there is going to be a ton of ground it covers.
  11. This should be awesome. I haven't watched a 30 for 30 I didn't enjoy even if the subject matter didn't really interest me that much going into it. This subject interests me just a little bit
  12. I think it was two years ago they changed the law to make open containers illegal while walking the sidewalks to the game. It got a lot of attention when they first announced it and from what I heard they were even pretty lenient with enforcing it for awhile as people got accoustomed to the change but at some point I guess they have to get stricter on it. It does suck because that was a non-issue for so many years at the Ralph but as they say these times are a changing
  13. I do too but thats still bad karma to be hearing that right before kickoff, I honestly don't remember that game last year. I normally don't pay attention to either teams but I have to admit the Bengals have been fun to watch this year....being jealous of the Bungles a new low in this 15 year playoff drought
  14. Ahhhhh don't tell me that now, I actually took Cincy in my survivor pool this week
  15. At least Detroit has the Red Wings...they dont even know how real the struggle is
  16. This is one poll we get ranked in first place every season
  17. I enjoyed the bye week. Went over my buddies place who has the Sunday Ticket and we watched the the Bengals-Steelers game and followed along all the other ones. Drank some brews and ate pizza and wings without having the stress looming over from watching the Bills. There were also some great games on yesterday....Hooray for the BYE WEEK
  18. Well they certainly can't tell you over and over how great the team is
  19. I know exactly what you mean, I've had the same observation and it is intriguing for sure
  20. He isn't out there all the time but I have seen him lay some absolutely devastating blocks already this season which has been pretty cool
  21. I have to agree that some people are selling the Biscuit short at this point. Although just a small clip, watch this youtube video starting at 22:50 mark. Keep in mind he was not benefiting from playing opposite Bruce during this time because Bruce was out the majority of this season. He could be an absolute force to deal with,,, I do think his biggest problem was dealing with lingering injuries, not that he didn't have the heart
  22. I remember back in his first season he played here he had some ridiculous stat line against the Eagles....off the top of my head I believe it was around 16 tackles, 4 sacks, 3 forced fumbles...Just insane!
