I felt like going into last weekend the football games in general were going to be anti-clamatic after that amazing World Series finale and thats how I felt about watching football on Sunday, of course I watched the Bills game but I could see how that game got lost in the shuffle for casual fans/Non Bills/Seahawks fans with it being sandwiched in betweeen what some are saying the greatest World Series of all time and the Election the following night
96-97 Packers and the Broncos teams that followed were both dominant football teams on both sides of the ball as well. I can't count the 2000 Ravens or 2002 Buccs because both of those teams were only dominant on Defense with very mediocre offenses. They wouldn't be able to hang with some of the all time greats that were built up on both sides of the ball like the Cowboys, Niners, Packers, and Broncos
As he should being a guy that has also played for a Super Bowl champion, he has the credibility to lay it out there that performances like today are not acceptable.
Agreed, I barely ever see fights anymore at the stadium and they were a pretty regular occurence just going back about 10 years ago. People can say what they want but the behavior has cleaned up a lot over the years
History repeating itself in GB? Same thing happened in the 90s...everybody thought the Brett Favre era teams were destined to win at least 2-3 Lombardi's and be a mini dynasty. But as mentioned, as a Bills fan its kinda hard to feel too bad for those kind of misfortunes
Have my draft Wednesday night, excited but nervous as I do think this is gonna be a crazy year with so many changes throughout the NFL with old guys retiring, injuries, suspensions, guys going to new teams and playing in different systems.
Rooting for the Sharks because well Pittsburgh has already won enough championships...but it would be bittersweet to see yet again another team that came into the league well after the Sabres(and based in California at that) win a cup before we get our first.
I remember seeing an interview somewhere with him talking about how he fell in love with the blue collar, working class fanbase we had...and then he started partying with Kelly and the boys
Although I know its gonna be tough I would love to see OKC Durant and Westbrook win the NBA championship this year. Out of all the remaining teams in both the NHL and NBA the Thunder is the one team I would really get excited about bringing home the hardware. Golden State OKC is going to be such a fun and entertaining series to watch
