  1. Bills Redskins 1996, the last hurrah for the Jim Kelly Marv Levy era...I think the Redskins were like 7-1 or something like that heading into the game and we kicked their ass that night(pretty sure it was a night game? or it definitely had to have been at least a 4pm start) but I was hooked for life after that one and forever thankful I at least got to see one glory years era Bills game even if I was pretty young and the team was already past it's prime at that point.
  2. I can't believe that was already 5 years ago, sometimes its the trivial events in life that make you realize how fast time flies by
  3. I'm more confident we find a way to lose one of the games were supposed to win than we pull off a win v.s. KC or NE
  4. Please refer to my avatar I decided to make this my avatar last year because I was tired of having to post the picture every year at this time now more convenient
  5. Way to not disappoint! Awesome story and someday it'll all be worth it when the Bills finally hoist the Lombardi(hopefully )
  6. Don't leave us hanging, whats the story on how you became a Bills fan?
  7. A bit different than last year when many kids in the Chicago area used the Cubs World Series win as their tardy excuse
  8. I feel like Bennett is the forgotten Super Bowl Buffalo Bill. Nowadays everybody refers to the Big 4(Kelly, Bruce, Thurman, Andre) but go back and watch games from those prime Super Bowl years and The Biscuit was right up there on their Superstar level. Now I realize he didn't have the longevity here in Buffalo as the other four but he played a MAJOR role in the Super Bowl runs. I hope we get to see his name on the Wall of Fame someday soon.
  9. Let's Go Baby. Need to end this drought so I can finally update my avatar lol
  10. That's true for any team the only difference with the Bills is they have been on the bad side of things for 17 years
  11. I've met him before and he's not a jerk by any means. He was very friendly and down to earth. But that doesn't win football games and the guy clearly does not have a burning desire to play football at the highest level he is capable of right now. Sometimes it is tough to hear the personal attacks on Dareus because he really is a good dude as a human being but it was absolutely time for the Bills to cut ties and move on from him
  12. Lots of living in the moment in this thread. The Steelers 2004/2005 season was hands down the biggest game in the 17 year drought(which is still very depressing in itself that is the biggest game we have had in the last 17 years). That game was a legitimate win and get in the playoffs scenario and Bills fans were FIRED UP going into that one...but we all know how that one ended
  13. Keep fighting brother. Although different circumstances I had been battling pretty severe depression for a few years and it is TOUGH. No way to sugarcoat it but everyday is a battle to get through but you never know when your luck and life can turn around. For the first time in years I am feeling really good about my life so I guess the point I am trying to make is things can turn around no matter how dark they may seem right now.
  14. "I hope when I die people make jokes about me, don't cry for me. Life is great"- Ralphie
  15. Ralphie's twitter page, first pinned tweet at the top and all the great replies https://twitter.com/Ralphie_May/status/408719220537839616
  16. Ok now that I got to actually watch it that was awesome but bittersweet too. I think watching all the gameday highlights on NFL Primetime growing up in the 90's contributed alot to my obsession with the NFL. Oh how I miss the old days
  17. Yeah although not a legend, guy did a two hour set and had some pretty funny bits and certainly wasn't afraid to cross any boundaries. I always said I would've seen him live again if the opportunity came around
  18. RIP this one hits me a little bit and I am not going to pretend he was my favorite comedian of all-time or pretend that he was the GOAT now that he passed away but he was funny...The reason this one hits me is because a few years ago through a friend we got front row seats to see him when he came to the local Casino. Good show, I started following him on twitter after that and even interacted with him one time on there about his show I saw. But he was a very humble down to earth dude who always showed love to Buffalo on twitter(I think he even gave us a shoutout on there within the past week or two),gave good interviews every time he was on the Shred and Ragan show, and always had good outlooks on what was going on in the world. Very sad to hear about this because he just seemed like a good dude and someone whose thoughts I came across on a fairly regular basis from following on Twitter. Way too young.
  19. RIP. Cherish the memories you have for they live on forever
  20. Mortal Kombat 2, Street Fighter 2, Tekken, NBA Jam, Simpsons and WWF Arcade Games. The 90's was the last generation of kids hanging at arcades
