It is. There's a few places in WNY that might have some variation of a garbage plate on their Menu but it's not a staple around here like finding Beef on Weck's and Stinger Subs. I usually head up to Rochester a couple times every summer to play golf and we always try to grab a garbage plate somewhere when we go.

Walking and bike riding for me. Living in WNY it just always feels great to get outside and get some fresh air as much as possible during the warmer months of the year.

Agreed. I was impressed with the way they handled the situation.

Today's press conference should be a dousy! As The World Turns on Ice continues...

I always wanted to attend a training camp as a WNY local but it was always one of those things where I would put it off and never make any real effort to make it happen...it was always one of those "well there's always next year" kind of things but I finally bit the bullet and went in 2019. Very glad I did because I had no clue what we were about to encounter in 2020 and who knows what things will look like for TC going forward. The past year has really taught me the lesson to never take ANYTHING for granted anymore!

On this day in 1994, Dominik Hasek had a good game.

Everybody always talks about the 4 Super Bowl losses but I still say the most underrated What If In Buffalo Sports history is the Sabres not being able to put enough talent around Hasek to win a Cup. Imagine Hasek in his prime behind the net for a team like the 05-06 Sabres -

Call your shot: Who will the Bills pick in the 1st round?
BillsPride12 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's really amazing after last season ended I thought there would be very few possibilities where they would be going for the first round pick in the draft this year but here we are 2 days out and the possibilities are endless. There's so many different ways they can go. -

Unless they pull off a big move to trade up and grab an edge rusher I am going to say Etienne or Harris -
Things are still going to be weird with Covid going on but generally speaking going to Canalside and spending some time downtown by the arena area has come a long way in my opinion. I live in the Northtowns but try to make the stop to Canalside/downtown once a summer since it has come more alive. If you do that Liberty Hound and Pearl Street have some cool patio bars. If you go to Allen Street there's alot of cool bars and restaurants. Normally festival season would be in full motion by late June but once again with Covid that won't be normal this year unfortunately.

1988 Buffalo Bills -1st Division Title since ‘80

I'm not disputing that an incident between those two didn't happen in Cincy but I don't know if that would be considered the true beginning of the Bickering Bills either. Just my opinion -
Let's revisit this thread Friday morning. I'm not convinced the Bills are definitely taking a RB but I think it's reasonable it could happen.

1988 Buffalo Bills -1st Division Title since ‘80

Yeah I'm not sure I agree with this take. I always thought the Bickering Bills stuff started with Jim Kelly calling out Howard Ballard and the stuff that followed that -

That was the season that really catapulted the Super Bowl runs...I hope someday we look back at 2020 in the same way(of course there will always be the Pandemic BS associated with it as well unfortunately) -
15 years ago today, Brian Campbell laid out RJ Umberger

It's so hard for me to accept this was 15 years ago already and that era is now being referred to as the good old days. Time really flies -
It's a shame the timing of the careers of both Fred Jackson and Kyle Williams were just a little bit off in timing because they would be the absolute perfect fits both in talent and personalities for this current McDermott process culture era Bills team. Would be incredible to add both of those guys to the mix both on the field and in the locker room on the current Bills team.

I imagine these were a staple at Rich Stadium tailgates during the Super Bowl years -
You can tell just by listening to his post game presser's and when Granato appears on WGR that his actual hockey knowledge is night and day from Kruegar's. Kruegar was just a walking book full of cliche's

For as great as that team was they were also as dysfunctional as they come. Ditka and Buddy Ryan couldn't stand each other and it carried over to where the offense and defense didn't like each other, McMahon and Ditka couldn't stand each other. It's amazing they were able to have as dominant of a season as they had in 85 with all the BS going on behind the scenes. There's a book called Da Bears by Steve Delsohn that goes into a lot of the behind the scenes stuff that happened that season, it's a pretty entertaining read if your interested in learning more about that team
