  1. It's very common slang around here, I don't mind using it appropriately with close friends or even that friend from high school you don't see as often but you guys have that mutual respect for each other....but I absolutely hate it when you go somewhere and a salesman or someone taking your food order tries calling you that.  Super corny in those instances.

  2. I did a playoff bracket on NHL.com and was really happy with how I've done so far.  I had Florida and Edmonton as the two teams in the finals and according to NHL.com I got 71% of my picks correct.   My ranking in this thing?  28,690 🤣🤣🤣

Believe it or not, when talking about NFL players some folks care only about their performance on the field.

Based on your language I can recognize that this may be scary to you, but I am confident that you can be brave and come to understand in time if you truly try.

Believe me I know that's the case.  And I'm not one of those people that expect pro athletes to be choir boys, I know they live much different lifestyles than us peons and with that there's gonna come some trouble.  I also did my fair share of dumb s*** when I was in my 20's so I'm not even a very judgmental person when it comes to most stuff.  I was not one of those people attacking Araiza when that story broke before all the details came out etc..

But where I draw the line is I'm not going to celebrate or turn a blind eye to a Sociopath who murdered two innocent people because I am a football fanatic.  So thanks for the snarky reply but you still sound like a dumbass to me.

Long story short….growing up in Buffalo it was a fandom handed down to me from my family/community

But more specifically what drew me in was the 1988 season when the Bills were good for the first time that I could remember.  People in Buffalo were very excited about the team. The playoff win against Houston was one of the first games I can remember really looking forward to.   So many superstars on the team and nearly a decade of sustained success.

Pretty cool to think about how many new diehard fans have been broken in since the 2019 season.  Still living in the area I have witnessed a whole new wave of Bills obsessed people who couldn't have cared less about the Bills during the drought lol.

No way the NFL would do this right?  This is our sport.

Would they ever put Wimbledon or Europa Championships in NYC?

The NFL would give Super Bowl hosting rights to ISIS if the price was right $$$$$$$$$

  6. I was and born and raised and still reside in WNY to this day so I guess it comes naturally.  It was my Uncle who really got me hooked though.  He had season tickets throughout the entire Jim Kelly run from 86-96 and always had so many incredible stories from being at all the games during the glory years and was a part of the tearing down the goalposts you see in my profile pic.  He even has a piece of the goalpost to this day! I was just a little kid back then but the whole thing seemed fascinating and larger than life to me as an elementary schooler.  I'm a little bit more jaded on the NFL these days but I'll always be a lifer when it comes to the Bills.

I agree.  NFL needs to come down hard on this and they should force the Jags to forfeit their first three games.

Ha!  Good luck with that...the NFL is too busy plotting out new ways how they can squeeze out another 350 Million Dollars in revenue from the fans next season

    Here's a story for you.....

First time ever being at the stadium with my wife (back then she was only my girlfriend), however, i had game opener tickets for the Bills against Miami. The game was on the Sunday 1pm, but we showed up in town on the Saturday morning (we're from out of town and decided to make a weekend of it). I drove to Orchard Park on the Saturday morning and we just kind of hung out having a look around at the outside of the stadium, however, there was a gate open (the media were setting up and people were in and out of this gate). My wife and i walked through this open gate (this was long before 9/11) and proceeded to wander around inside the stadium, just checking things out.

I walked onto the 50 yard line and was just taking in the whole scene, when a little old security guard started to shuffle over to us from the end zone. It took him forever to walk out to us and he says, "oh, so you must be the guy who's singing the national anthem tomorrow?.....or are you with the media?".......and i answered that we were from out of town and that we had tickets for the game the next day and we were just checking the place out.

He says to us, "Well, have a look around for another 10 minutes and then make your way out the gate"......and he also says, "if i'm looking this way, i have no idea what's going on in the opposite direction, so if your 10 minutes is an hour, how would i ever know".......then he shuffles away towards the end zone from which he came in the first place.

My wife and i were stunned, however, we wandered around for most of the day, staying away from the direction that the security guard wandered away to. No one stopped us or questioned anything.

We saw everything in that stadium that day.

That was one of the fondest memories i have ever had with the Bills......and it was at the very first Bills game i had ever been to.......and then 9/11 ****ed everything up.

Yeah that's an AMAZING story but I was going to say Good Luck ever getting to experience something like that again in today's world

    Two old memories…

Going out trick or treating with Bills gear on thinking the Bills had lost, only to find out later the Bills came back in the 4th quarter. A guy handing out candy gave me the news, I believe that was 1999.

Long before streaming and living 1000 miles from Buffalo, watching the ancient play by play on NFL.com and listening to Van at the same time (when it was still free.) The dial up days lol.

That's a pretty cool one.  This year a kid came to my house on Halloween dressed up as Josh Allen and I said Bills fan huh? How do you think we are going to do this weekend?  And I gave him a bunch of extra candy.  It's kinda cool being older now and then seeing yourself in the younger kids who are fans at that age and remembering what it was like when the adults would talk to you about Bills football so I always try to pay it forward

  10. Going to Nashville the last time the Bills played there in 2021 was such a surreal experience.  I have done a decent amount of Bills road trips and they are always great but that one was on another level.  It was a complete takeover and everywhere you went that entire weekend it was just a sea of red, white, and blue.  Bills fans know how to have a great time, it was one of the most fun weekends of my life.  Catching a Bills game in Nashville should be on the bucket list for any diehard Bills fan.
