K Williams is a stud, He's not the biggest NT, BUT he plays with a mean streak and is pretty damned strong for his "lack" of size. He anticiapates plays and can shed blockers pretty well too. Dareus is only going to get better with time. The kid is strong as hell with a lot of quickness for a man that size. He's still inexperienced, but its fun to watch him play.

That might be true... and you'll have to do the same with either Kyle WIlliams or Marcell Dareus.

Brady says drink up before the game
McD replied to BillsFan-4-Ever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The statement by Brady might be the only thing he's ever said that agree with him on. I hate that douche with a passion, but I like the comment. Now I just hope they fans there don't take it to extremes (but they will). On the other hand, the Pats PR dept need to get their ass kicked for even attempting to cover up his statement. Just when I think I can't hate the Pats any more they do **** like this! -
Ha ha ha! I gotta admit, some of these are pretty damned funny!

Give Merriman some credit... he was one of the reasons Barnett signed with B-Lo. Merriman has been pimping Buffalo since he got here. Of course, we all know the reason behind it is to try to load up the team with talent bc he can't do it all himself (even if he was healthy), not that there's anything wrong with that. All we need is a solid year this year and the FA's will start viewing B-Lo in a better light!

Love him or hate him, Flutie is the reason there's still football in Buffalo. Sorry to get off track of the man love for Dirty Sanchez. Dirty is a decent QB, but for all of the talent that team has had, there's no reason he shouldn't already have 6 SB rings in the 3 years he's been playing.

We'll have earned nothing off the field UNTIL AFTER we've earned it on the field.

I went with Fitzmagic, but I like the Amish Rifle too. They're all "Fitzlicious"!

Correct.

Whether you think he's a moron or not, I like the way he tells it like it is.

New England only brought 6 men o-line to Miami
McD replied to clearwater cadet's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If this is true, why in the hell do players want to sign with them? Belicheat has been doing this kind of **** for years now, but somehow players are duped into thier BS. Ralph might be cheap, but he's fair. -
Not sure, but... were those runs against us when we had a larger lead? Were we in more of a pass coverage D alignment? If so, that would explain some of it. Sorry, I don't know first hand, I missed the game as I was at the Rams/Eagles game.

This is how the game day thread started on the chiefs board
McD replied to 17 Josh Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've been to KC twice for Bills games... overall a great experience and great fans both times. One exception was last year when one of their fans decided it would be cool to throw peanuts at us all game long. It didn't really bother me until they hit my son, then I got a bit pissed, and went over to confront them (as any good Bills fan would do); I asked the guy (and his 4 friends) to stop, and he baltantly lied about doing anything even though I saw him throw them. Next thing you know his buddy's are telling me to sit down or they'll go sit me down (them's fightin' words man!), but I refused to leave until he apologized to my son. Needless to say someone called security, and they of course came down to escort ME out until a rash of Chief's fans jumped in and told security that the 5 morons were to blame. The security guards seems flabbergasted by that and promptly escorted the 5 out, lol. Hell I even had the Chiefs fans there apologize to me for those clowns, and then about 3 big, BIG Chiefs fans escorted us out so there wouldn't be anymore trouble... then I drank in the parking lot with them for another hour Good times in KC... great fans that know the game. I would recommend an NFL game day experience there anytime. -
Enjoy this Bills fans... the boys played well, and we took advantage of some poor play from KC, but I wont apologize for it. To win on the road 41-7 when both teams had the off-season to prepare is still impressive. I will be happy with the win, but will temper my enthusiasm until week 8. I feel this team had the talent to go 8-8, possibly 9-7, but was really expecting a 5-6 win season at best (so many questions). We're still a bit thin at certain positions and an injury or two could really hammer this team, however I still believe the Bills are on a good upward path. I'm looking forward to the Raiders game... lets hope the staff has a good gameplan for Oakland's running game and Campbell's athleticism.

Although I agree the O-Line should have priority, I just dont see them going all out like this in the draft. Probably 2-3 O-Line taken next year tops. 1st/3rd/5th rds. Really depends on how these guys play this year. I'm still in favor of a stud ILB and/or OLB.
-
Cassel says he'll play "come hell, or high water". Cassell doesn't scare me as much as their running game does. Keep them near a "C" note on the ground, put some pressure on Cassell, and the D will be ok. We'll need some help on ST and if the O needs is efficient, we'll have a good shot at the W.

Will we need to create a new acct or will these move over automatically?

Too many questions and assumptions regarding the Bills and their new additions. Plus, none of us know what will happen to Stevie J now that Lee is gone. Keep us at 30, I'm ok with that... it'd be nice to be at least #15 come the end of the year. I just want improvement and the upward trend to continue (or, should I say start?!).

Insider: Nix hasn't addressed Bills greatest needs
McD replied to Amstel's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
O-line will still be a weak point for this team. We brought in players to upgrade the DL and LB corp, and early indications are that they will help. WR was a strength, but is now a question with the loss of Evans. Spiller CANNOT be forced in there just because he was taken so highly. He should be situational and taught NOT to dance behind the line or try to get outside every damn run. TE was another spot that was ignored even though every top team in the NFL has a quality TE and/or a gameplan for them to succeed as a unit. Fitz isn't a strength, but a better option than what we've had in the past. He has this year to prove himself... I think we've all been pretty much saying this for the better part of a decade now... this game ISN'T that hard! -
Will we compete within our own division? If we can't do that we have issues. Right now we're looking at 1-5 to 2-4 in the division and we've had a pretty tough schedule the past few years. I hear ya on all of the "potential" balls bouncing our way, but this team is still no better than 7-9...this year anyway. If we stay healthy, can find a RT, a TE and our D plays average we might sneak into the 8 to 9 win range...

Andre Reed in Sports Nation ESPN poll for 2012 HOF
McD replied to EasternOHBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Still no love from the general public for Andre... -
Lol... yes guys I know a first down or two can be the difference... just as much as they might mean nothing. I say that as opposed to an actual scoring play or huge gain that can really change the face/pace of a game. A big return... huge catch and run... or, a scramble out of the pocket for 20+ YDS... The guy has the talent for it, I just hope to see it utilized...
-
As long as they transpire into points, or a change in field position, game momentum, etc. We have a habit of not making the plays that change games...
-
Does he know soemthing about our O-line that we all don't?
-
Sad to say for us, that means a gain of 7 yds on 3rd and 6. Of course my expectations have been lowered to be happy with an additional first down or two a game...
