Is this really happening...? Our D-line can go from a weakness to a HUGE strength. I know everyone wanted Mario, but to add Anderson to the mix really gives the Bills a formidable front 4 with a pretty decent rotation too. It also really gives us some flexibility in the draft because I was still looking at a D-line addition (hoping the Bills could trade down to #15 and pick up Ingram or Upshaw). Looks like if we can get this done, we can look at OL, WR, LB and CB for the majority of the draft.

Buddy may not "lie", but he's certainly not going to be completely forthcoming regarding what they'll be doing in the draft. Trust me, if Blackmon is there at #10, he'll be a Bill.

Great... Denver gets "lucky" being 8-8 and getting an undeserved home game, then they get Pittsburgh without their best RB, then they get Big Ben with an ankle injury, then both Keisel and Hampton go down... He's 25 and and a very good WR talent. How many of us were all that mature when we were 25? I hate the fact he's been a fool at times and has the dropsies here and there, but the guy is a legitimate WR that will only GET BETTER the next few years. Complete **** that we're drafting behind a team that beat us TWICE! I think if you have the same record, the head to head should come into play against the two teams that played head to head. Even then, to keep it fair that could only be for Rd 1. After that the spot should be rotated each Rd. In this case there are 3 6-10 teams. Buffalo would be ahead of Miami due to the head to head, and the Bills and Panthers would do the "flip" for Rd 1. If Carolina won the flip, then it would be: Rd 1 Carolina Buffalo Miami Rd 2 Buffalo Miami Carolina Rd 3 Miami Carolina Buffalo and so on.... Of course you could do almost the same thing, but since Miami beat us head to head, then they would NEVER draft ahead of us and we would only rotate with Carolina. Carolina wins the flip... Rd 1 Carolina Buffalo Miami Rd 2 Buffalo Carolina Miami Rd 3 Carolina Buffalo Miami Just a thought...

Wrong!!! The players drafted on D were solid. How much worse would the D stats look like if those rookies didn't play well...? Edwards is an idiot coordinator, but in his defense, he was expecting Merriman, Kyle Williams and McGee to be there. Losing them hurt big time, and now we need to draft to fill more D holes. We need an OLB and possibly DE... and as much as people might not like it, another CB. "Vastly" oh brother... here we go again. I won't completely argue this, because KW offers so much to this team, but I'd still like to see an outside rush to compliment the middle push.

Good thing the Pats didn't pick up Belicheat after his dismal coaching in Clevelend... oh wait....! Not that I don't totally disagree with you, but there are a TON of things that make things different from team to team. Hell just look at our owner and FO that refuse to pay/keep the talent we have whereas other teams will do anything it takes to secure not only good players, but also good assistants. Neither Marv or Wade were "distinguished" coaches before they came to Buffalo, but both did a pretty damned good job while here.

I still want more depth in this years Draft and/or FA, but they've really come together nicely as a unit. Makes me think LB will be #1 priority next offseason, unless something comes available this year.
