The D def has some issues... We need a run stuffing LB and another solid cover corner. An O that's more consistent will also be a welcome help to the D.

I'll not root for a loss, but if they do lose I'll hope that it was a good game with some great efforts by the staff and players. No moral victories with a loss, but progress must be made.

Lots more to evaluate before assigning a grade. I know this is their first full year in their respective areas, so they get some room from me. The fact that they lost Manuel and had to use multiple QB's in his stead gives them a little bit more leeway as well. The F.O can only do so much when the players don't execute. I agree with the fact that 4-8 is 4-8, but using that same thought process, this team is 3 plays away from being 7-5. There is change in the air and it's been a long time coming. Even Brandon seemed aggravated with the Toronto series and how it's affected the teams ability to win that additional "home" game. I'm staying cautiously optimistic here... Looking forward to how the season plays out (and how the players/coaches respond). I'm not expecting much in the off-season as far as FA's go, but I hope we can lock up some of our better players and maybe figure out a way to grab another under the radar impact player like Lawson/Hughes (yes, I know Hughes was a trade). The next 4 weeks will tell a lot.

The game and season is officially "over" from a playoff standpoint. Can't dwell on this too much as we've all been here before. I think the Front Office has done a good job with it's first draft class and I'm looking forward to the 2014 draft... saying that I think the Bills still need to win a few more games and play hard in order to possibly woo a few FA's as well as sign a few of our big players with contracts ending soon. What would you like to see for the Bills the rest of the year in order to move forward? We need that good "balance" in order to make the "new" Bills attractive to players/coaches... losing a few more games this year keeps us in the top 10 for draft purposes, while winning a few helps players/fans/FA's see we're moving forward. I think a 6-10 season (esp with a rookie HC, new coordinators, a rookie QB, and rookie LB calling the D) is showing forward even if it ONLY matches our win total from last year. We need (in no order) another CB, a OG, TE, OT, and LB... I wouldn't be surprised if we grabbed a WR or RB either.. Your thoughts?

There is also no rule against a defender trying to tackle a runner low. If a runner goes low and the defender goes low to tackle him (tackling 101), then there is no foul. There was only one way to try to stop a runner leading with his helmet and incidental helmet to helmet contact was bound to happen.

Easy to say that but that DB makes a hell of a move on that ball to jump in front of Gronk and I don't know if Gronk could have turned in time to make that play... even if he turns in time, the DB is still in front of him so he'll knock it down or make it extremely difficult to catch either way.

Gronk NEVER made an attempt on that ball. If he does the PI is warranted.
