  1. I am neither a Republican or Democrat. Depending on the issue at hand i will lean a different way according to my belief. For example, i will lean Democratic when discussing abortion, but will lean Republican when discussing taxes or anything to that affect. As a matter of fact, i believe that the Republicans and the Democrats have strayed away from the true path of politics and the foundation of this country, and that is looking out for what is best for the people. Most of these politicians seem hell bent on rapaciously making money, and protecting their own interest. The best thing for this country right now would be for a third party to rise up and simply compromise between the two opposing sides on stand points. Sorry, but that is just my belief.
  2. I wasn't taking a stab at the Bill fo Rights, the thing i was saying was that it is remarkable that people get elected and people actually believe that this nonsense will work. I'd like to see some of these people go over to the Middle East to talk to these guys at a table face to face, and see them walk out alive. These guys are people who will snatch the life out of an infadel just because.
  3. I've only seen a few glances since i primarily wait for the Colbert Report. But the only things i see are stabs at Cheney and talking about people who oppose Demeocrats are invited on hunting trips with Cheney.
  4. Why are you looking at me like that?
  5. I like John Stewert. But i don't like the way he is moving with The Daily Show. It is simply turning into "Bush is stupid" humor. It was funny when he started because they were simple tiny things that just were original, but now it has simply turned into stupidity that is only appealing to one crowd. If Stewert was smart, he would get back to what made The Daily Show, and that is appealing to all. He is cutting out 1/2 of his audience by cracking the jokes that he does, and it ends up hurting the integrety of the show rather then helping the ratings.
  6. How many people actually believe that this will work? Negotiate with Iran and North Korea, not to mention negotiate with Al Qeada and Hizbollah. Iran is not interested in negotiation. I actually wrote an entire term paper on how to deal with Iran and the Iranian belief, and their president imparticualar is not interested. People like this should not be allowed to speak, and it is absolutely ridiculous that we elect people that think that there is always willingness to negotiate.
  7. Erik Flowers didn't like to hit inbounds.
  8. Dammit, where is Holcombs Arm?
  9. Well put.
  10. Personally i think we should have ignored Pickett all together and seriously pursued Rocky Bernard. That guy is a killer.
  11. He was great in the goal line stand.
  12. Okay, i can buy that. Not what i was looking for, but i can buy that.
  13. The difference between this draft and that draft is that the people we drafted have talent. For example, during the draft when they said Erik Flowers, people said "Who the f*ck is Erik Flowers". Oh he is an undersized DE that was projected to go in the second or third round. This years draft picks, of the first five, i believe four or all of them were top 100 prospects. I don't think you can beat that. Ko Simpson is coming into his own and will dominate soon enough. Was supposed to be a first round pick and many projected him to go to the Dolphins with their first pick. Donte Whitner will come around as soon as he learns the system and his responsibilities. John McCargo was i believe the only talent on the NC State defensive line and allowed guys like Manny Lawson and Mario Williams to excel the way they did. Ashton Youboty was supposed to be a top 25 pick that fell to the third round. Why would you not take a shot on that guy. Kyle Willaims is certainy making an impact and was on a national championship team. He is incredibly smart and was a top 100 prospect, and is exactly what Marv was looking for this draft. The draft picks on 2000 were nobodies that were picked way out of sequence and there was no true hope for them based on their training camp performances. This draft class will be fine.
  14. Just because you are a free agent that signs for big money, it does not meant that the team you left wanted you back, or that you were a major impact on that team. The Bills have many times let players walk away and they sign else where, that does not mean that those players were ever that good.
  15. He was an actor who always took on roles that weren't the easiest to play and you have to respect an actor willing to take on new tasks and new characters. RIP Bruno Kirby
  16. I wouldn't go that far quite so fast. The only thing i saw out of him was him throwing that guy on his ass in the KC game last year after the play. He doesn't impress me and i am not sure if he ever will. The Bears released him when the Bears sucked. What does that say? I don't think it is because he is at the end of his career, i can't think of a time when people were saying "Oh Chris Villarial is a force on that Bears offensive line". Can You?
  17. This is why? This is why you need to cut Kelly Holcomb! He will be a disruption no matter what during the regular season.
  18. Hmm, well. There's two ways you can take care of that. You could say forget that and draft a quarterback, or you could insert a poison pill into the contract the way the Vikings did with Steve Hutchinson.
  19. Here's why. I think that he is simply just a dude that Tom Donahoe brought in to fill a hole on the offensive line. All the other guys that he brought in (i.e. Bennie Anderson) have completely flopped. What is the difference between the two players? I really don't see any drastic improvement between the two. In his years with Buffalo, he has not done that much to impress me so why is he still on this roster? I think he was part of the Donahoe propaganda machine and people just have wised up to the act yet. Personally if he is not cut by the end of camp, i believe that this will be his last year on this Bills team. Thank God.
  20. Matt Schaubb, hands down, no contest. But that's only if Losman is a complete flop and shows no improvement over last years weeks 2-4.
  21. Nobody can drink and drive these days, it appalling. I am truly disappointed with my generation and i will try to fix this, i promise you.
  22. I think it will actually be Shaud Williams that is but at the end of camp. The Bills aren't going to cut Lionel Gates and Anthony Thomas is a larger back than Shaus Williams. There is no reason to keep Shaud around this season. For one he can't run up the middle to save his life and his only usefulness comes on third down when Kelly Holcomb dumps it off to him and he picks up five yards instead of ten. The whole idea that the Bills would trade either one of these guys is stupid because it won't help your team either way. If you trade them A-Train for lets say a draft pick; if A-Train has a career season within your division and in which case he runs up a 400 yard tab agianst your team when he plays them twice a year, then is the draft pick really worth it. The Bills would never trade Gates because I think that he is going to be like Derrick Holmes was in the mid 90's, very reliable and can make a play when needed. So it's time that everybody forget that the Jets are looking for running back, because we don't want to help them. Stop trying to fix all of our problems in one year as though this was a video game in which very much resembles how Donahoe tried to run this organization. We don't want to help anybody and we don't want to receive help from anybody. This is not Madden, it is reality, so stop with the stupidity. Let it go people, let it go. That was not all aimed at BlueFire.
  23. What i saw out of Royal at camp, i liked. He has good hips which allow him to catch the ball and turn up field quickly. But i think he will merely be a dump off over the middle or out in the flat kind of receiver that will be a reliable target for Losman. The thing that impressed me was his size. He matched up one on one with Whitner a few times and when he did go down field he used his body to out smart the safety and secure the ball in his grasp. This ability to go one on one with the safety could come in handy if we ever go to a four, or even three receiver set. With the talent we have at WR, they will simply put a linebacker or safety on him one on one and double team Evans and cover the other wideouts one on one. His playmaking ability in these situations could come in handy and potentially offset the defense in terms of basing the play they run on what tight end is on the field at any particular time.
