  1. Download checkmate by Jadakiss, that is a good freestyle that insults 50 Cent throughout the whole thing. It really changed the way that i listened to 50 Cent and the way that i viewed him as a "gangster".
  2. I don't mean to be a douche, but why don't we try to create our own tradition and not have to steal one from a bunch of kitty fans like the Vikings' fans? Come on, we have creative people here. And for some of you older people, put your four year degrees to use. This can't be that hard.
  3. I listen to Project Pat, he's got some interesting stuff that flows very well as opposed to some of his other stuff. I gotta say, one of the hottest songs i have ever heard was Shoot 'Em Up by Nas. That sh-- is unbelieveably tight.
  4. Old Eminem Freestyles are unbelievable. Notorious BIG freestyles are hot too, try The Wickedest Freestyle if you haven't heard it yet. I don't know why, but i like it.
  5. You're right, new rap does suck. I have always felt the same way and i just think that people like the Notorious BIG, Dr Dre, Tupac, Master P and No Limit, etc, had something that modern rap doesn't. This is no more evident than in Role Call by Lil John and the Eastside Boys. I like to listen to Lil John and the Eastside Boys, don't get me wrong, but Ice Cube's verses in that song and LJ and the ESB, just really define the lines as to what old rap was, and what new rap is. I can't get into new rap. It's like they just take anything and slap a beat on it and give it a hook and for some reason the radio plays the living sh-- out of it. The other day on the radio i heard a song about chicken noodle soup! And it was rap. This is not what i grew up with, it isn't even rap. Modern Rap has certainly traveled far from the days of Natural Born Killers, Machine Gun Funk, Boys in the hood, and Protect Ya Neck. That's why i was hoping that some people here could come up with stuff that is new and respectable, but also stuff that is older and may not be as recognized but is still respected as a decent song. I was looking for something with an east coast beat, dark lyrics, and a decent flow. Freestyles work too. Nothing beats Big L freestyles though.
  6. How not to get my vote, have your husband go to a pro football game in a town that you are trying to recruit votes from.
  7. Anybody have a link for the play? I saw it but i find it easier to analyze a couple hours after the game, when i am not so pissed about a call.
  8. It has been talked about many times and nothing ever comes through. We should all meet up and do something at some point that is mutually agreed on at a nutral location. I just thought that maybe we should do something so that we can meet face to face and just meet some of the people that we trash and criticize, haha. Leave any ideas or dates here that work for people and maybe we can work something out. Boondock.
  9. My collection on my computer is getting old and i need a few new songs to listen to, if you have any suggestions, please make them because some of the sh-- i have been listening to the last few months has become boring and routine. For an offering of my own, a couple good songs to download... Knockin' Doors Down - Pimp C Duck Season - DJ Babu
  10. Sorry, i bosted at 36, had an off week, and now i am at 21. Out of 9,000 some odd people picking football games, i am 44-15 on the season, and i am two victories from the top spot. Not bad for a 19 year old if you ask me. Once again, i celebrate here and not to those i know or those who are in my personal pool because of the repricussions that may come if i should fall.
  11. I know it is a little too early to call him a consistent and quality starter in the league, but he is showing flashes of things that the Bills have not seen in a long time. I like what he is doing with the ball, he looks poised and looks like he knows what he is doing, which is very unlike the Losman of last year who looked, well...flustered. I think a lot of it is our receiver's ability to gain yardage after the catch, but there are some points where he threads the needle in critical situations. I would have to agree with some on this board as i won't view him as a Pro Bowl quality starter until he stages a last drive or fourth quarter comeback. If you look at his performance in last weeks game against the Jets and the decisions he made on the final drive, i would say he is far from that. But i'm not sure it is too far off based on the success and progress he has made with this regime this year. JP Losman now currently bosts an 86.2 quarterback rating on the season, and according to that particular stat makes him the 17th ranked quarterback in the league. The only thing that i worry about is his ability to consistently move the ball around in the red zone, the way it always has been, but i think you can chalk that up to the idea that we have barely if any height at wide receiver. Hopefully we can fix that next offseason. If we get Losman the tools to succeed with the money that we have next year, i think that we could be a legitimate playoff team with good health. With what this team is doing this year, i think that it is merely a preview for next year. Imagine Whitner, Simpson, Evans, Losman, Crowell, Williams, McCargo, Parrish, and McGahee all with more time to find their voices in this league, i think that we could be in the top 15 teams at the beginning of next year.
  12. Doesn't that classify as a D.O.
  13. I think i saw some interference with a fair catch on that one.
  14. That is how they drew it up in the playbook.
  15. Jake Arians in high school.
  16. Sounds like Reggie Bush or LaDanian Tomlinson in high school. Or even Travis Henry, he had something like 5,000 yards his senior season.
  17. Go piss on her leg or something, then when she gives you a puzzled look, simply reply "i didn't get to finish my instructional video".
  18. I'm not sure i would chalk it up yet. The Vikings have a very good defense with some former Bills that are looking for payback. Antoine Winfield has had a stellar season so far for the Vikings, and is still one of the best corners in run support. Every year he seems to rack up his hundred tackles and usually has a few interceptions and fumble recoveries to boot. Pat Williams is a force in the middle that dislikes the Bills now because they let him walk away for the small price of 13 million dollars. I don't expect McGahee to have too many yards on the ground up the middle or to the outside on Winfield's side. With Willis' struggles on the ground, the Bills are going to need Losman to step up and beat them with his arm, against a secondary that is anything but weak. The Vikings offense is medicore and does just enough to win them games most of the time, but with our run support up the middle, or lack there of, the Vikings could run circles all over the circled wagons of the Buffalo Bills. They are without Koren Robinson, which is an advantage for the Bills, but it all boils down to whether or not Brad Johnson can still command a team on the field. If Johnson's arm is no longer there, the Bills could easily stack the box to prevent the run and expect the senior Johnson to beat them the way the Vikings will force Losman to beat them. Bills 24, Vikings 23, or Vikings 24, Bills 23. Narrow victory for whoever wins tomorrow, and i wouldn't doubt if the Bills see no movement in the power rankings on Monday, or if anything they will slide down into the mid twenties.
  19. Big Bear or Colt 45 as well.
  20. Where does pissing in the troth/sink at the ralph categorize into this?
  21. LOL. I have, it hasn't worked, so i went back to plan 'A', which is drinking myself stupid until i have an epiphany. Still waiting...
  22. Good point, i will take it a step further. There is no other time that Paul Tagliabue would smile as much as he did after a deal had been made with the players union on collective bargaining, or after the NFL signed an extension on a tv contract. Nothing like the draft, or the fans, or anything else made him smile the same way he did when deals were made.
  23. That's been my motto for the last four years.
