  1. Okay, i'm not touching that one.
  2. Agreed. Rap is difficult to do, but the rap that most people hear now a days is just anything that has a hook slammed on it and nothing else but one catchy phrase that is repeated over and over again. When discussing 2pac, Notorious BIG is better. No question. The best. But i do feel as though there is little or no place for the crossing between rap and football. But a lot of the things that people use in touchdown celebrations are largely linked to and or are directly inspired by rap actions. The fact that the NFL has tried to modernize the NFL even more to appeal to people in my generation is just sick. It is something that doesn't have to be done. They're doing just fine attracting people with the Madden Franchise. As for those who need the rap to be attracted to football, they aren't going to be football fans and more than likely won't understand the game.
  3. I enjoy the races but only because of the money and booze. But damn you, i thought the "kitty comment" would give me a leg up in the little war of words
  4. I wouldn't doubt if they will ever play "New York" during a Jets or Giants game on one of those highlights of the game before commercials.
  5. Damn, anyone else it would have worked for. Okay, i'll hand this one to ya.
  6. Most of them probably get more kitty than you ever will too. I would say the horse has one leg up.
  7. Probably still making more money than you ever will
  8. Agreed. But i guess it proves that even the most common person has a chance to broadcast an NFL game, even the idiots of the world (Greg Gumbel)
  9. Except Clements.
  10. I would have to agree with that fix.
  11. Can anyone find a ruling on this?
  12. Ineffective play by linemen and the Donte Whitner interception. If this was a home game, you bet your ass that would have been over turned. Instead, it allowed for three more points that ultimately decided the game. Another side note, with something like 13:00 left in the fourth quarter after a Bills player was pushed out of bounds, the clock continued to run and ended up shaving off fourty seconds, that in a game like this were very important fractions of time. Anybody who Tivo'd the game, look back and you will see i am not smoking crack.
  13. I'm with you.
  14. How are the Killers over rated? I think they could be one of the best songwriters out there right now. I think the reason why some people have problems with them is because their music is harder than their appearence. Just an opinion though.
  15. Still going strong in an effort to piss everyone off, and sometimes say the dumbest sh-- anybody has ever heard.
  16. I do this all the time. Even more so recently with this article that i have been asked to write for the local paper. The article itself is pretty much about the things that i have done, and the mistakes that i have made. Sitting at a table last night...drunk... I was forced to think about some of the stuff that has occured in my life and it forces me to ask myself questions along the lines of "where am i heading?" and all the other things that we do not often think about. The thing that i truly don't understand, is that during these times when you reflect on the past as well as prepare for the future, you seem to make promises to yourself and come to conclusions that you never seem to follow through on. I still can't get my mind around this phenom. The fact of the matter is that i think that felecting upon life is embedded in human nature in some way or another. I think we are all on a quest to improve ourselves in one way or another, and i don't think there is any site of us stopping at any point. I would certainly say that you are not alone in thoughts of this nature, and i think that thoughts like this can usually only make people better than they are now.
  17. I love it!! Further pussification of America.
  18. Agreed. We know that some people are definately not doctors, and more than likely werethose who cried when asked to disect the frog in public school.
  19. What about a possible appearance by Youboty?
  20. 3. Henny Hughes - Great sprinter but I've seen a million top sprinters falter late in the season. Lost in the Fog did just last year. Anybody remember a horse named Groovy? Trust me, Henny Hughes has not yet done half of what Groovy did. Groovy faltered in the BC. The BC Sprint will be grueling. Henny may hold up but there is usually money to be made on a closer rounding into sprint form (Greeley's Galaxy?) In any event, I am hard pressed to ever put a sprinter in the top 3. 803045[/snapback] Lion Heart.
  21. He was the only non person on ESPN's top 100 athletes in the last millenium.
  22. I could get into it.
  23. That's pretty cool. I like that.
  24. Who would have guessed that eating kittens could cause so much brain damage?
