  1. Same here. The majority of the stuff i say is nonsense. Have a good night.
  2. Isn't that the story year after year these past few years?
  3. That's the best you got? Like i am really trying to gramatically master the English language when i am shootin' the sh-- with people like you. Come on, i was hoping for something good.
  4. Denney had a good game against the Pats.
  5. Is that a Terry Glenn thing or a fact?
  6. Agreed on the ignorance part. The best part is that he is probably looking up a case study or looking for a comment made by someone else with a PhD. The problem is that the answer certainly won't be found there.
  7. That's a wee bit over the top.
  8. I agree completely with the Tim Anderson comments. Oh i didn't say that we didn't have much more pressing needs. I was merely pointing out that you said anyone who says Schobel is nuts, and i said that if there was a justifiable reason to release him, then this team should go for it. I stated he can't stop the run. I was merely saying that if we were to find someone who could both get sacks and stop the run, then i would be interested.
  9. Now did i say anywhere in my post that rap was the best thing on the market? I am reading back through and i don't see anything. Was i defending modern rap? Looking through still and not seeing anything. What i was pointing out is that you waived your large wand of stereotypical nonsense and categorized all rap into meaningless things that you think hold little stature or meaning. I proved you wrong. I think someone like myself would have a better handle on what rap means to today's youth, and the youth's of the past, that have listened to it then someone like yourself who is more than likely a middle aged school teacher that sits in the teachers lounge, and debates with the rest of his colleagues about what the world is coming to. But has more than likely never set foot in a ghetto no less. I do agree on the other hand with what Cosby says. It is important that people educate themselves and stop buying into this rapping dream. But, would you be going as far as to say that people who have aspirations to become president need to stop dreaming as well, and that they should educate themselves in a career field that fits the molds and trends of the employment realm for the next 20 years? meazza is right. Get over yourself. I still say that you don't know what you are talking about, and that i still know a little more than you on the subject due to the fact that this whole argument boils down to age. When you listen to rap, all you may hear is niggaz and ho's, but just because you can't hear the other meanings around the lyrics, don't display your asininity by making bull sh-- comments like the ones you have posted so far. No study you bring up and no celebrity discussion could even give you a glimpse of the kinds of things that people like myself relate to in rap music. Go grade some mid term papers in the lounge.
  10. Yes, Schobel has the sacks. But he can't stop the run. period. End argument. Get rid of him now? No. Down the line? Possibly.
  11. Agreed. I don't know why some people are so up in arms over this team. It's no different than any other. Atleast this team had the decency to tell us they were rebuilding.
  12. Schobel is okay, i wouldn't go as far as thinking that the person is nuts as long as they have a reasonable argument.
  13. This game reminds me of that scene from "Roots".
  14. Dr. McMahon will probably be there soon. After he stops laughing about the win.
  15. When did you see it? It is such a borderline cult film, that's what makes it great.
  16. If they were the Arizona Cardnials, the lead wouldn't be safe.
  17. I think he is worth keeping around, i just think that he stopped playing like the player we drafted and started looking for highlight plays so that he could be recognized. Had he stuck to what he did best, covering receivers straight up, he certainly would be worth the money we are dishing out right now.
  18. Well put. Not saying that i like balls more than "it". Not there is anything wrong with that.
  19. He started playing for a contract.
  20. I see no changes wake up in the morning and I ask myself is life worth living should I blast myself? I'm tired of bein' poor & even worse I'm black my stomach hurts so I'm lookin' for a purse to snatch Cops give a damn about a negro pull the trigger kill a nigga he's a hero Give the crack to the kids who the hell cares one less hungry mouth on the welfare First ship 'em dope & let 'em deal the brothers give 'em guns step back watch 'em kill each other It's time to fight back that's what Huey said 2 shots in the dark now Huey's dead I got love for my brother but we can never go nowhere unless we share with each other We gotta start makin' changes learn to see me as a brother instead of 2 distant strangers and that's how it's supposed to be How can the Devil take a brother if he's close to me? I'd love to go back to when we played as kids but things changed, and that's the way it is (Talking) We gotta make a change... It's time for us as a people to start makin' some changes. Let's change the way we eat, let's change the way we live and let's change the way we treat each other. You see the old way wasn't working so it's on us to do what we gotta do, to survive. [3] And still I see no changes can't a brother get a little peace It's war on the streets & the war in the Middle East Instead of war on poverty they got a war on drugs so the police can bother me And I ain't never did a crime I ain't have to do But now I'm back with the blacks givin' it back to you Don't let 'em jack you up, back you up, crack you up and pimp slap you up You gotta learn to hold ya own they get jealous when they see ya with ya mobile phone But tell the cops they can't touch this I don't trust this when they try to rush I bust this That's the sound of my tool you say it ain't cool my mama didn't raise no fool And as long as I stay black I gotta stay strapped & I never get to lay back 'Cause I always got to worry 'bout the pay backs some buck that I roughed up way back comin' back after all these years Just an excerpt from a song that i suggest you download but you wouldn't. SO read the words, tell me it is all about the promotion of the uplifting things you gave an example of. The fact of the matter is that people like yourself don't know what you are talking about because you sit high on a pearch in "CT". So please, read the lyrics, tell me it is about what this modern rap is about. THe fact of the matter is that youth of today does not know what "rap" is, and it is obviously clear that people like yourself have no idea either.
  21. Not disagreeing, just pointing a few things out. A guy like Tripplett is a guy who is still breaking out of his shell in his career. Marv isn't one to go out and sign big name guys like T.O. but instead he is a fan of signing guys who have not yet made a name for themselves but are considered to be on the up and up. Kyle Williams looked good in pre season and needs more time to be the dt everyone thought they saw in preseason. Becoming a good DT is not something that happens over night. John McCargo seemed like he was starting to get the grasp of this defensive scheme before he got hurt. He is another one that came out of college early and just needs the time to physically develop as well as time to grasp the defense. Ryan Denney and Chirs Kelsay have shown flashes this year, but i am still not sure that either is the answer. Aaron Schobel is a very good pass rusher, but can't play the run for sh--. He plays the run the same way our tight ends play in the passing game. Poorly. Would i get rid of him? No. I think that down the line, once we secure a few other spots, Schobel will have to be willing to play the run, or find a new address.
  22. I'm sure he would take wins as well. But i don't think it is the primary goal this year. I think Marv meant for this year to be for confidence building as well as instilling experience in the young guys.
  23. Hey, i'm still waiting for you to spit your first rhyme.
