  1. Any chance that the entire Bills defensive unit hates Wannstedt, and that's why they refuse to tackle anyone?
  2. I've always thought that the Arizona Cardinals should have changed their name to the Phoenix Phoenix
  3. <-- comparable to the way the team is run and plays.
  4. "On second thought.. just give me your armband with all the running plays on it. You won't be needing it."
  5. Ok.. that was pretty amusing until I got to the "duet" part.. I just couldn't go on, at that point.
  6. I'm 38.. so the Super Bowl runs were my 4 years in highschool.. It's just my opinion that the Hall of Fame should be reserved to THE VERY BEST players from their generations. A special teamer should never get in, in my opinion.. this game is about offense and defense. Sure, sure.. someone can try to make the arguement that Special Teams is 1/3 of the game. To me, guys like Ray Guy, Steve Tasker.. and hell, probably someday Devin Hester should never make the HoF unless you made a significant contribution to either offense or defense. This is the Hall of Fame.. not the Hall of "Well, He Was Pretty Important To Our Success Too." With that being said.. I think the HoF is pretty watered down already. So, I'm sure these guys will make it, someday.. To me, if there is ANY arguement as to whether or not someone is worthy of enshrinement, then you shouldn't be in. It should be reserved for the best of the best, period. In my opinion, no one outside of Buffalo is ever going to remember Steve Tasker as "All-Time Great".
  7. Cris Carter: 234 games played, 1101 Rec., 13899 yds., 130 TDs Andre Reed: 234 games played, 951 Rec., 13198 yds., 87 TDs Why does Reed deserve to be in and NOT Carter, exactly? Steve Tasker even being on the ballot is laughable, in my opinion. You know what, Steve? You were pretty good at covering kicks and returning the occasional kickoff or punt.. but, that's a pretty minute portion of the game. You'd have to be OTHER WORLDLY at it to even get a sniff of the Hall of Fame. But, of course the Hall of Fame has this ridiculous rule that a certain number of people HAVE to be inducted every year.. whether they are worthy of the honor or not. Talk about watered-down.
  8. 61,016 (Should I deduct 53 from my total? I'm pretty sure the Bills aren't gonna show up.)
  9. An embarrassing loss isn't all bad.. embarrassment leads to change.. hopefully in the HC, DC and QB departments.
  10. Just because a pass was completed, doesn't mean it was accurate.
  11. Well, he's also use to his noodle-armed QB taking forever for the bal to get to him.. probably assumes the DB or LB is right on top of him by the time the ball gets there.
  12. How do you figure? Getting the automoatic point makes the time between TD and insuing kickoff longer.. thus, MORE commercials. Which would suck.
  13. I did it.. wasn't all that tough. Pick division leaders to keep winning, all NFC teams to win all out of conference games, and for the also rans to to kinda split up the wins and losses.. Bills end up at 7-9, 6th seed vs. Baltimore.
  14. Yes.. because I'm sure Belichick lies awake at night worrying about what the cellar dwellers in his division are doing.
  15. There's also a floating head wearing a white ball cap under the guy sitting on the edge of stairs..
  16. Not to mention that the old Riddell helmets just plain look cooler.. drives me nuts when players opt to wear the new aerodynamic looking ones. Sure, sure.. some egghead told them it's "safer", but they just look plain stupid.
  17. I'm sure Jim and Darin have more than enough room for us.
  18. You know.. I was going to argue my stance, but I don't see the point. I spelled out my hopes. I'm sick of rooting (praying) for mediocrity.
  19. I know this isn't going to make me very popular, but I hope we get absolutely throttled. Teams don't get back to the top without hitting rock bottom first. (Or being extremely lucky.. and I don't have to tell any of you how lucky this franchise is.) A couple "feel good" wins at this point won't bring about the kind of change this fan-base deserves.. of course, finishing 3-13 won't garauntee that change either, but I like the odds of that happening after a historically bad finish to the season.
  20. Stevie Johnson, Kyle Williams, George Wilson, Jason Peters..
  21. The WRs may be average at best, but our LBs are abysmal, at best,
  22. Not sure the Browns will pick a QB, but will certainly trade the pick to a team that will.
