  1. Frez.. is this when we start our campaign to draft Brain Leonard? Maybe we'll get luck and he'll still be there for our first 3rd pick.. otherwise trade the 3rds for an extra 2nd?
  2. I can't believe I'm even going to suggest this.. but, how about Flutie, as most athletic Bill ever? (No one tell my Dad I said this.. he'll disown me.)
  3. Lynch.. and trade Willis for a bag of used footballs.
  4. Frez.. nice link to that Brain Leonard for Heisman website.. anyone veiwing that, wouldn't help themselves to wanting the Bills to draft this guy. (Other than the fact that it'll probably take a 2nd-3rd rounder to do.)
  5. No way Pilar signs before April 1st..
  6. Maybe that's because we covet players that are valued a couple spots ABOVE where we pick, rather than a couple spots BELOW where we pick. =)
  7. Drury took a shot from the circle, and Neil skates over (a bit late, IMO) and gives Drury a shot to the head with his shoulder.. knocks Drury head over heels and he smacks his head on the ice. Big props to Stafford for immedietly coming to his Captain's defense and taking a run at Neil. It got really out of hand after the insuing face-off, when Lindy puts Mair, Peters and Kaleta on the ice, and Ottawa puts out their #1 scoring line.. hehe.. Mair goes right after Spezza, and everyone else kinda pairs off.. Biron and Emery square off, too.. (both got ejected afterwards). Lindy and the Sens coach (name eludes me) throw a couple F-Bombs at one another. After the dust settles, the Sabres end up with 2:00 for Mair and 4:00 for Peters.. (I think).. Sabres kill the 5-3 PP, but Heatley scores on the 5-4.. 3-3 score. But, MacArthur scores before the end of the period. 2nd Intermisson.. Ott: 3, Buf: 4..
  8. Making 150 tackles, 5 yards beyond the LOS.. isn't all that impressive. That being said, alot of the blame can be put squarely on the shoulders of the D-line. Improve the D-line, and LF has the potential to be an All-Pro. To hell with drafting a CB with the #1 pick.. pick a DT. D-lines make LB's and CB's better.. not the other way around. (Although, without Nate's "lockdown" ability.. expect Schobel's sack numbers to drop.)
  9. Terrel Owens to Cowboys? Takeo Spikes to Bills? Jevon Kearse to Eagles? Adam Vinatieri to Colts?
  10. Losman gets a pass because, as far as I can remember, he hasn't: Proclaimed himself the best player in the NFL, at his position. Even though Ray Charles could tell him otherwise. He hasn't produced offspring faster than Shawn Kemp on viagra. Hasn't told the world he'd be happier if the Bills were in Toronto. Hasn't asked for a contract extention based on his "piss-poor" production thusfar in the NFL. Gee, guess you're right.. how dare anyone get down on poor Willis.. someone take my "Get Willis the hell out of Buffalo" membership card. I guess I don't need it.
  11. Bears 19, Colts 10 I liken this game to the Pittsburgh game last year.. Bears will be in Manning's face all day, and he'll have to pick himself off the turf after every dropback. Bears set-up alot of short fields with the defense and special teams, but the Bears offense can't take advantage of the field position (reason for the odd point total - 4 FG's) Manning is forced into alot of mistakes - 2 bad INT's and a forced fumble. That having been said.. I'm rooting for the Colts all the way. That's just how I'm calling it. Heh. Oh.. MVP? Thomas Jones - 19 carries, 94 yds rush., 36 yds rec., 1 TD
  12. Let's just play the instrumental the Sabres use before each home game.. maybe it's karma. Heh.
  13. And to worry during ever years draft as to whether the team picks a 5th-7th round QB.. Heh
  14. 6' 1-1/2" , 265 lbs -- Goal Line RB/FB.. When I was a HS Freshman (1988-89) I was 6' 0", 230 lbs and quit the football team when they "stuck" me at LT.. man, if I had only known then, that by the time I was 32 yrs old, LT's would be making $5mil+ a yr.. sigh
  15. I won't get into the "which network does a better job" thing.. but, Dick Stockton/Troy Aikman should NEVER be allowed to do another playoff game, again.. In the 3rd Qtr, someone ran in for a TD, and those guess showed about as much enthusiasm as a Spelling Bee announcer. It was really sad. It's a friggin' playoff game guys.. try to show some excitement.. your job isn't only to call the game, but to try to sell it, too.
  16. Steve Christie is the only Bill to ever wear the #2???
  17. Ok.. here goes. Each team, listed by conference, 1-16, based on record.. and using my own tie-breakers to determine rank within the conference (i.e.: which team *I* think is better) NFC vs. AFC 1. Chicago vs. San Deigo --- winner - SD (AFC) 2. New Orleans vs. Baltimore --- winner - Baltimore (AFC) 3. Philidelphia vs. Indianpolis --- winner - Indianapolis (AFC) 4. Seattle vs. New England --- winner - New England (AFC) 5. Dallas vs. New York Jets --- winner - Draw 6. New York Giants vs. Kansas City --- winner - Kansas City (AFC) 7. St. Louis vs. Denver --- winner - St. Louis (NFC) 8. Carolina vs. Cinncinati --- winner - Cinncinati (AFC) 9. Green Bay vs. Pittsburgh --- winner - Pittburgh (AFC) 10. Atlanta vs. Jacksonville --- winner - Jacksonville (AFC) 11. San Fransisco vs. Tennesee --- winner - Draw 12. Minnesota vs. Buffalo --- winner - Buffalo (AFC) 13. Washington vs. Miami --- winner - Miami (AFC) 14. Arizona vs. Houston --- winner - Arizona (NFC) 15. Tampa Bay vs. Cleveland --- winner - Tampa Bay (NFC) 16. Detroit vs. Oakland --- winner - Detroit (NFC) Final Total -- AFC 10, NFC 4, 2 Draws Now, when ya look at this, don't think of it as one game they would play against each other.. consider it as just a total analysis of each team, as to who is the better team. Granted there is nothing scientific or even completely factual about this.. it's just my opinion, and I would guess the opinion of most posters here. Tell me what ya think.
  18. Its' best just to ignore this guy.. he tried telling everyone what a great addition T.O. would be to the Bills, too.. Heh.
  19. The fact remains.. We had nothing to lose. Nothing was on the line.
  20. Umm, not for nothing, but.. so what? We had nothing to play for, but pride. Friggin' go for it!! Hell, he was willing last week to go for it on 4th and 5, with the season on the line.. why not go for it on 4th and 11 with nothing to lose! And don't give me the "JP might get hurt" crap. cuz the line couldn't keep the Ravens D out.. Winners play to win, period.
  21. Ok, dude.. apparently you don't get it.. NO ONE WANTS T.O. in a Bills uniform. I would rather take a "flier" on a 7th round developement-type player, than trade for that idiot. Is he better than Price, Parrish or anyone else the Bills can line-up opposite of Evans? Yes. But, who the hell wants to root for that arsewhole? Personally, even if trading for the Bills GARAUNTEED a Bills Superbowl win, I STILL wouldn't do it. I have to actually like my team.. not just like my team winning. (Having said that, I hope Spikes or London or somoene cuffs Nate upside the head the next time he does one of his idiotic endzone dances after a nice play. "Act like you've been there before, son.")
