  1. Hobert doesn't inspire the same kind of anger, as good ole Rob.. Bill didn't cost us a 1st rd. pick.
  2. 11 - Rob Johnson - Quarterback 1 - Mike Hollis - Kicker 4 - John Kidd - Punter 21 - Willis McGahee - Running Back 80 - Billy Brooks- Wide Receiver 81 - Peerless Price - Wide Receiver 85 - Russell Copeland - Wide Receiver 84 - Lonnie Johnson - Tight End 68 - Mike Williams - Offensive Line 58 - Chris Villareal - Offensive Line 71 - Jerry Ostroski - Offensive Line 72 - Joe Panos - Offensive Line 66 - Derrick Dockery - Offensive Line 23- Chris Watson - Special Teams (KR)
  3. QB - Edwards RB - Jackson FB - Weaver WR - Evans WR - Reed LT - Peters LG - Dockery C - Preston RG - Butler RT - Walker DE - Schobel DT - Stroud DT - Williams DE - Kelsay OLB - Mitchell MLB - Pozluzny OLB - Ellison CB - McKelvin CB - McGee SS - Scott FS - Whitner C'mon guys.. you all know damn well that we're gonna march the same sad sacks of sh-- we send out there every year. Dick comes from the school of Marv.. (Don't start rookies until you have to.) Just like he did last year with McKelvin and then Hardy.
  4. Anyone know of a site that shows the current contract status of our guys on the Bills?
  5. It makes me wonder if this sentiment is true because so many of these kids grow-up in small, backwater towns in Canada or some western European country.. whereas our football players grow up in this country, and no exactly the difference between playing in New York or Chicago, as opposed to Buffalo or Cincinnati
  6. Quick, name a QB who has EVER been successful under Dick Jauron's "Take no chances whatsoever" offensive philosophy. Long as this guy has any say in the game plan week to week, they are sending Trent (or whomever, for that matter.) into battle with a butter knife.
  7. I'm aware of that.. I was adding him (Holmgren) the list of guys that were fired/retired..
  8. As Peter replied, "Really? Well, you ARE a trooper."
  9. Free Agent: Owen Daniels/TE Draft Picks: Aaron Maybin DE/OLB & Clay Mathews Jr./OLB
  10. Jeebus guys.. just answer the man's question. I take Raji.. (Although, I really hope the kid from Texas drops to us.)
  11. I can't think of many "comics" I like less.. she's a shock "comic". If you wanna call it that.
  12. I was wondering how long I would have to wait before I seen this topic posted, after reading the poll on ESPN.com. Ravens, Steelers, Cardinals and Eagles.. What do these four defenses have in common? They are all blitz heavy schemes. And when you know your guys up front are going to get the QB, you, as a safety.. can afford to take chances.. i.e. jump pass routes. These guys are pro bowlers because of the scheme their teams run.. their coordinators put them in a position to make plays.
  13. Is Jim Leonard really any better now, than he was in Buffalo? Probably not.. hell, you or I could make plays in the Baltimore secondary with all the pressure the Raven Front-7 puts on the QB. All the more reason I think the guys that advocate drafting Mays is a great idea.. Hell, even half-ass DBs play well with a dominate Front-7 (4).
  14. I put Shannon Sharpe in the same category as Steve Tasker.. as in, I liked them a hell of a lot more BEFORE they started using the mouths to earn a living.
  15. I think Miami would be nuts not to draft Tebow.. not in the 1st rd. mind you.. but, get him in a Dolphins Uni.. Tebow behind center, running the "Wildcat" offense, would really suck for the rest of the AFC East.
  16. I think he'd need to have 2 more guys off the line of scrimmage. Maybe: TE --- T - T - G - C - G - --- --- --- WR --- TE -------------------- TE ----------------FB-------------------------- ----------------RB--------------------------
  17. A winning coach doesn't spell his name D-I-C-K J-A-U-R-O-N
  18. Dickie's record vs. Teams with a winning record.
  19. Exactly! Anyone think that if New England had 1st and Goal from the 6 yard line, that they'd call for a jump ball in the corner to Wes Welker? I don't.
  20. Mark me down for Spagnolo, Nolan and Grimm.. especially, Grimm.
  21. [quote name='MRW' date='Dec 4 2008, 02:25 PM' post='1238981' Although how you post this after Lynch has posted 3 solid games in a row is beyond me. Jackson's a great back to have on the team, but I think you'll see very quickly that he's not a feature back. The last three weeks did not erase my memory of the 8 weeks prior to that, watching him dance around in the backfield.. it's as if he thinks he's still in college, and isn't content on the 4 yard gain, and wants only the 30 yd. highlight reel run.
  22. I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but.. Now maybe the better RB will get the bulk of the snaps? Don't get me wrong, I love Lynch's heart and power and all that.. but, he doesn't offer anything that Fred Jackson can't give you, other than the crazy second effort that Lynch unleashes. Of course, if Marshawn hit the hole (when there *IS* a hole) as quick as Freddie does.. he wouldn't need the second effort. That being said.. I hope it isn't serious. Having both of them in the game is better than having only one, regardless of which one it is.
