Have the Patriots Not Learned Anything?
Lurker replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
AB is an asshat. Nobody disputes that. But the Hernandez comparison? There are few, if any, NFL players that have gone down a road as rough as that. As the Hooded One said, it seems a lot more like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy_Moss#Dating_violence_allegations -

Well, IDK. Rothlisburger, had an equivalent charge against him and a stand up organization like the Steelers did exactly what? Hmmmm. "She said/he said" charges aren't that unusual anymore and the NFL has shown that it needs a lot more physical/visual evidence to put someone on the exempt list... -

IDK. Seems like a stretch. Everyone knows AB is a diva, but prior to signing with the Pats, I doubt anyone would have thought he was a criminal... P.S. I always thought Shaughnessy was a click bait monger. -
My parents had this album and played "A Taste of Honey" all the time. IDK about the video, but I always enjoyed the song. It's a real American success story that Alpert and his partner Jerry Moss started making albums in their garage in 1962 and grew to become the largest independent record label in history, eventually selling to PolyGram in 1989 for the equivalent of $1 billion in today's dollars...

Gotta love Wiki.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minkah_Fitzpatrick "After his old team, the Miami Dolphins, gave up on the 2019 season, Fitzpatrick requested a trade and was granted permission to seek one on September 12th 2019." "Minkah Fitzpatrick (born November 17, 1996)[1] is an American football safety for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL)." Earlier, I saw he played for the Seahawks. Somebody needs to change it to the Bills....

Yes, yes. I agree with you--if it makes sense and they get value in return, the Sabres will make the trade. If not, they won't. My point had more to do with the media. Harrington, Hoppe, Vogel, etc. have all perpetuated this 'Risto wants a trade' story from one line in a translated interview from a Finish publication. I say their interpretation is bogus and designed to capture eyeballs and clicks, more than anything else...

I am so tired of writers saying this: “I cannot say anything other than the fact that on the 12th of September, (I will be at) one of the NHL team’s training camp,” according to a Google translation of the interview. That, of course, sounds like a guy who wants out." Not really. All it says (to me) is that Risto realizes he could be traded and will be at some team's camps when it opens. The Sabres have control over that, not Risto--unless he holds out--which he clearly gave no sign of doing (ie., playing in the golf tournament) and is Buffalo, at least for today.

What Giants fans are saying about our Buffalo Bills
Lurker replied to Wayne Arnold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Most NFL fans who post on message boards have no clue what they're talking about...including me, you and the horse you rode in on. -

Why is this thread here? This is the NFL TMZ site. Talking about the upcoming game is so passé...
