  1. The Jets have injuries...but man, they're a long way from being respectable.
  2. I wonder if Ryan Kalil wishes he'd stayed retired...
  3. The Dolphins are the third floor of an underground garage. By the time they build on that foundation, he'll be coming up on UFA and will surely walk away from MIA...
  4. They'll suck for years. I suppose they're thinking, "Why waste Minkah" when they can get a #1 which can be used as draft capital . I just hope the NFL doesn't turn into the NBA, with a bottom teir of teams that always do these kind of things, making the upper tier stronger in the process.
  5. IMO, Yeldon has one skill set--receiving--so you'd basically be tipping your hand as to what the play is. I'd rather spread the field and run four WRs, like they've been doing a lot of this year....
  6. That's a 16-year veteran welcoming a rookie LB to the NFL...
  7. I'm not ready to go there yet. His mental game is certainly growing but not to the level of guys like Dalton, Carr and Flacco who have many more games under their belt. While he's ahead of those guys physically at this stage of their career, we haven't seen enough of how Josh reacts when playing under duress against a good, playoff-level defense. The Pats game will be huge for that...
  8. The O-line (and Daboll in his play calling) definitely needs to work on their blitz communication. Per today's Snooze: "The Giants blitzed on 16 of 37 drop-backs (counting two penalty plays), or 42 percent. The Jets blitzed 30 percent in Week 1. Allen was 7 of 12 for 78 yards with two sacks against the blitz."
  9. Of course. But after futzing up the kicks today, there's no denying that he's finished and knows its time to move on...
  10. Unlucky, indeed...
  11. He's been bad for a while now. No need to just hang on for a paycheck and put his team at a disadvantage...
  12. I take issue with Dabol not adjusting to the NYG blitz every time Allen went shotgun in the third quarter. The O-line was having a tough time adjusting and Dabol should have called a few screens or other short passes to make them pay for their aggressiveness. Also, the rookie CB covering John Brown was giving him way too much cushion all game. They went away from exploiting that in Q3, whch seemed pretty conservative...
  13. Mercy move. Let Rosen get twisted into a pretzel over the next 14 (or less weeks)...
  14. That's what I saw as well. The training staff was massaging his thigh on the field, which I don't think they'd do if it was a hammy...
  15. The O-line needs to work on blitz and stunt pickup and Josh needs to recognize that better and hit his hot receiver. Dabol as well. Needs to call a few screens to back the D off. Still working on the complete game...
  16. No maybe's. That said, NYG blitzed on virtually every shotgun snap in the second half. There was a LOT of poor passblocking to go around in this game...
  17. That image is just wild once you know what to look for. It must be quite a shock for the people living at 3789 Moon Bay Circle... https://www.neighborwho.com/FL/Wellington/3789-Moon-Bay-Cir/
  18. Yep. The Fins are finished...
  19. Yep. I'd bet that the confidence interval is pretty high with that survey (+/- 6 or more points)...
  20. It's likely. Water levels in retention ponds go up and down every year, especially if don't have a liner to prevent draining into the sand below. I agree with posters saying he drove straight through the stop sign into the pond. Probably fell asleep and ker-splash... https://www.wpxi.com/news/trending-now/google-earth-photo-of-pond-helps-find-car-with-skeleton-of-florida-man-missing-since-1997/985876824#
  21. Here's a game. Who said this: "So you want to give people their fair day in court to prove their innocence. It’s hard. You don’t want to just, any time someone gets an accusation, boot them out of the building without due process.”
  22. This morning my wife and I were discussing why dogs inately know how to swim, but people don't. This story is just more grist for that mill...
