The scripted 15 or so plays to start the game have been great so far. After that, Josh's ability to read the D is still a work in progress. He's getting better but there were about 5-7 plays in the second hafl that he left out on the field. Still, like Brett Farve, it may not be pretty but the kid's got a real ability to rise to the occasion, especially since coming back from injury last year...

Yeah, Josh and his WRs will probably not be able to go toe to toe with Brady and that offense. But 3-1 is so much better than 2-2. They dodged a huge unforced error today....

Yeah. Yeldon's a liability in the run game with his upright style. If I'm the Bengals, I focus on taking away the running game and force the Bills to be one dimensional. It will be fun to see if Josh is up to that at this stage of his career...

This picture from today's Buffalo news caughtr my eye. It's Kroft and his spindly little ankles. No way do they look strong enough to support a 265 pound guy. I don't try to follow the croud and play doctor/lawyer/indian chief on TSW because I slept at Holiday Inn last night, but it makes me think his body was meant to be 200 pounds and just can't take the pounding from carrying all that extra weight...

Would it help if they called it a veteran rest day...

Threaten to take away one of their first's from the Tunsil or Fitzpatrick trades (i.e., create some kind of rule that a first round pick can not be traded within 1-2 years of their draft selection). That will kill this approach to tanking dead in its tracks...

Nope. They overstate their ability to grade players based off of watching video alone, IMO. The O-Line grade article in today's Buffalo News is a good example. PFF says the line had a mediocre day, but nowhere do they acknowledge that the Giants blitzed on 42% of the Bills passing plays. Or saying that most of the 125 yards in rushing was due to the RBs only, not the line. Plus, I still hate Collinsworth. So that's a no-brainer when it comes to disliking PFF as well...

Thomas already is. He has the most receptions (321) in his first three years of any WR in NFL history...
