  1. Lol! That's would be a good Bills Mafia fundraiser. I suspect McD might get pissed if Brett showed up at OBD courtesy of the fans, however. Then again, maybe if Daboll endorsed it...
  2. Outstanding article. I never realized Farve was so eloquent or cerebral about his career. His quotes were were just a perfect breakdown of what ails Josh and what he needs to do to overcome his 'hero ball' mentality...
  3. I'd agree with you. For three years, I've often thought that Jones just doesn't seem to be where the QB is expecting him to be...
  4. Wow! Easley's burning people already...
  5. At this point, what could you possibly get for him? He's the Nate Peterman of WRs...
  6. Yep. If Josh doesn't practice Thursday, he'll sit on Sunday...
  7. But Brady didn't hand the game to the Bills, did he. He did the smart, veteran thing (no hero ball) and let Allen do the heavy lifting for them...
  8. There were at least 2-3 times it seemed like Bready could have been called for intentional grounding as well...
  9. Trolls r us, but here's my question for you, OP: "how many 4th qurarter comebacks has NP led so far in his career?" I'll hang up and listen...
  10. That sounds pretty much like an admission that Josh isn't playing this week...
  11. The Pats blitzed on 48.5% of Josh's snaps yesterday--the highest percentage of any team the Bills have faced so far. The percentage is rising from week to week as teams see how effective it is... https://buffalonews.com/2019/09/30/josh-allen-buffalo-bills-analysis-mistakes-new-england-patriots-blitz/
  12. Oh? You misunderstand. Hoody was going to tell Gisele, who'd then rip Tommy for him....
  13. Yep. He would have seen it on film. But now he can personalize it with Brady. Psych Ops stuff like "Hyde told me how easy it was to read your eyes..."
  14. To me, he always seems too amped up at the start of games. He's his own worst enemy too many times early in the game. He said last week that he'd absolutely, positively, definitely learned his lesson--no more hero ball--and then just seemed to forget that when he was flushed out of the pocket...
  15. The Hooded One will likely use it to rip Brady a new one in the film room today. Actually, the coolest thing I got from the video was that he called Micah by his first name. I've seen a lot of interviews where he doesn't even do that with his own players...
  16. He's way too wishy washy and protective of the refs. Blandino had a set of balls and would call things more honestly, IMO...
  17. The folks I watch the game with all agreed that McD or Daboll need to give Josh a valium about an hour before game time. And if the NFL eventually takes pot off the banned substance list, Josh should include a fatty in his pre-game ritual...
  18. I know it's behind the paywall, but Mark Gaughan is spot on: https://buffalonews.com/2019/09/30/josh-allen-buffalo-bills-analysis-mistakes-new-england-patriots-blitz/ "If Josh Allen had given up on as many plays and thrown away as many passes as Tom Brady did Sunday, the Bills might have beaten the New England Patriots. Brady was terrible under pressure in the Patriots’ 16-10 victory at New Era Field. The six-time Super Bowl winner had eight throwaways among his 18 incomplete passes. He was just 1 of 11 for 14 yards under pressure. However, he took no sacks and threw just one interception. Allen, of course, made far more mistakes."
  19. Most quality WRs have the agility and ball tracking skills to adjust to those kind of throws. Many can do it even when blanketed by a defender. Jones seems to trip all over himself at times and not have much physical (or mental) agility...
  20. Per Peter King's column today: "...The most amazing stat (now that Denver isn’t sackless anymore) of the first quarter of the season is Marcus Mariota’s stat line: 62.2 percent accuracy (average), 7-0 TD-to-pick ratio (uh, really?), 7.8 yards per attempt (better than Brady and Rodgers), 106.2 passer rating (better than Brady and Rodgers)."
  21. One thing I'm looking for with Barkley is him getting the ball out fast. He's pretty good with his reads and understands his arm limitations. He's a good fit for Daboll's offense and I expect we'll see Beasley heavily involved this week...
  22. One more good off-season and continued development by Josh and I think we'll be able to go toe-to-toe...
  23. I do agree with you on this. The early success Josh had this year was based on short / quick throws. Over the past two weeks, he's reverted to more of a long ball game--thereby putting his RTs in a bad place. I think it may be a function of the higher amount of blitzing he's seeing, which could be messing with his reads/decision making. McD's post game comment about taking what the D gives seems to imply as much--that the INTs were on Josh and not the play call. The coaching staff have to get him back to the "structured Josh" we saw in games 1-2 and not the "playground Josh" we saw yesterday...
  24. It's on film now and DC's will exploit Ford's lack of foot speed the rest of the season. Ty is a bit better but I've noticed he's having more problems as well (i.e., the first interception). "Blitz from the right side and make Josh hurry his throws" is the book on how to beat the Bills right now...
