  1. After reading about all the players the Fins have lost since the first Bills game, they had better. If they were ever going to let their hair down and go aggressive, this is the game...
  2. What is it about NFL contract language that makes players the equivalent of meat to be tenderized any way the team likes? Did the guy screw up? Sure. Did he commit a heinous crime, drink baby's blood, irreparibly hurt or embarass his team? Nope. So what other company in any other field would fine -- and then publically call out that indescretion to his fellow workers -- the way Gase did here?
  3. For now, better that he plays the banjo...
  4. Good, let's kill it...
  5. My point was about the posters who put stuff out there just to pull people's chains...
  6. Why do I get the feeling that many of the posters taking this stance would be just as likely to say "Why'd they give up? They should have fought to the final whistle!"
  7. Agreed. Rudolph's action was at most a personal foul. Garrett's was an aggravated assault...
  8. Well, his tactics in Miami worked out extraordinarily well. So why not bring them to the Jests...
  9. He's on IR. The same as long-term disability or maternity leave for the rest of us. How many companies do you know that fine (and embarrass) L-T disability employees for not going to the doctor or calling in every morning to report that they're still alive?
  10. Yeah, I mean the way Rudolph played last night, he might have Rabies or something...
  11. If Burfict can get the rest of the season for his hit, Garrett should get even more...
  12. Never seen anything like that in all my years of watching NFL football. Garrett should get at LEAST the rest of this year and the first game of next year. Maybe more. If players can be banned for hitting a woman or other despicable off-field behavior, this to me is just as bad. The NFLPA has to support tough justice on this as well...
  13. I should have as well when I started this rapidly devolving thread...
  14. I suggest the other part of you get onboard with those feelings...
  15. More than I can list, but the granddaddy of them all...
  16. One BIG difference: Wonderlic scores Vince Young: 6 Josh Allen: 37
  17. Going for it on fourth down--not once but twice--in the CLE game was pretty off-script for McD...
  18. IMO, Josh will live or die on how well (and quickly) he is able to recognize blitz pressure and find the appropriate hot read. The games he's struggled in have been against teams confusing his initial reads, versus those that did not. It was the same at Wyoming. He has not handled pass rush pressure well in the past and it is now becoming known around the league as the way to beat him. I'm not sure, other than more experience, how a QB learns to overcome this weakness. It may simply be time in the seat, or it could be an irrepariable flaw in his game. That alone is enough to keep the rest of the season interesting, irregardless of the playoff picture...
