  1. I got some beachfront land in Arizona for sale. Would you be interested?
  2. Simply deplorable...
  3. Big whoop. PFF is the QBR of analytics sites... (and I still hate Collinsworth)
  4. See through my ass...
  5. Voimmeko harrastaa seksiä...
  6. +1 Players come and go. The owners are where the action's at... Kraft Jones Snyder Irsay Davis (mostly for his haircut) Haslam
  7. The country might be better off if we could do a massive "Trading Places" -type thing with each group...
  8. So what's the over/under on the number of fumbles Josh will have Sunday night?...
  9. Back when I had my tix, I always remember seeing groups of Bills fans pelt the Dolphins bus with rocks after every home game. It always made me shake my head that this was what some people considered fun and acceptable behavior. I was surprised to see a post where Washington was mentioned. In my experience, that seemed odd as virtually every seat in that stadium for many, many years (the Joe Gibbs era) had a lawyer, lobbyist or other 'professional-type' in it. I remember talking to some of these folks and the game itself was sort of background noise for them. I guess everything devolves over time....
  10. "...rectus abdominis" Man, what a great nickname for the Browns...
  11. In my mind, they need to try and have a wide body possession-type option for Josh. The TEs on the roster aren't providing that, so I want Williams to try. What the hell do the Bills have to lose, anyway. We're getting virtually no production from WR3, WR4 or WR5. If Williams can't cut it, it would be just like what we've gotten from this wide receiver group the last few weeks anyway. And, if nothing else, Duke would be a better blocker in the run game than those smurfs...
  12. The wild card may be defensive or ST scoring, however. Worried about that, frankly, given that the Steelers D will be playing with their hair on fire...
  13. You can't just buy or train experience off the shelf. That's why they call it experience...
  14. I don't buy that entirely. The laws of physics (i.e., throw the damn ball in 1.5 seconds for a 5-yard gain) can't be undone just because they're good cover guys. The Pats have won 6 titles doing that. I know, I know...Josh isn't the GOAT. But give us a least a few of those. Use the pass as a version of the run game...
  15. One thing the league is struggling with is breaking in so many new officials. There was a big retirement purge the past two years and many of these guys are like rookies and second-year players. Even if they've had a lot of college level experience, the speed of the NFL is a big, big step up for them. And many are failing badly...
  16. I'm not down on Josh today. I'm down on Dabol, however. The play calling never seemed to adjust to the Ravens blitzing. They had 10 days to work on a game plan and came up with something that looked like it was written up in 10 minutes. Where were the hot reads, screens to make the front 7 back off, 5-yard outlets to the TE, putting the FB in to help with the pass blocking and on and on. I know, I know...we've got personnel limitations. Maybe we can't run those kind of plays enough. But damn it, that what the OC and other coaches are paid to adjust to. I also know Josh feels more comfortable in the spread. But that played right into the hands of the Ravens blitzers, giving them easy open lanes to the QB. About the only time I saw a good adjustment was Beasley's TD and 2-point conversion. Hard to believe that was the only time those routes were open during the game. The last thing I'm pissed about is how the coaching staff repeatedly left Josh to sit and stew on the sidelines, rather than being in his ear, showing him all-22 photos or just building him up. There must have been 8-10 shots during the broadcast of him sitting on the bench by himself, looking like he'd just been run over by a bus. Coaching would have helped his mental state a lot, IMO. It's clear the Steelers will bring the same defensive game plan Sunday night. If the coaching staff doesn't adjust to the 'book' that's now out on Josh, this team doesn't deserve to win a playoff berth. End or Rant...
  17. I'd like to see that as well, but don't think we have the horses for that kind of race. Or the QB at this stage of his development. The spread formations help Josh see the field better and that's why they've empasized them over the past month. Bringing everone in tight might not be what he's comfortable with, not to mention the limited quality of our TEs in the first place. I think they're just going to have to live with this offense and hope they can do a better job of handling the blitz (which I'm doubtful of)...
  18. I'd call that simply keeping everyone level-headed. Teams like the Cowboys and Browns seem to be in emotional tailspins all the time. The Bills guys play exactly the opposite and you can't discount that approach as being something bad. Good on McD. Now just get them to the next level...
  19. At this point, I'd take a WR that actually helps the running game over the other ones who do absolutely nothing in the passing game...
  20. And our WR3 and WR4 aren't?
  21. The Bills win one more game, they probably get in. The Titans and Texans will eliminate one or the other...
