The OL was much better than the dumpster fire last year. That said, I echo many of the thoughts that moving Ford to guard and finding a better ROT would be beneficial.
If there's one thing I think McBeane can do as part of the 'process,' it's look at the team with clear-eyed pragmatism. They drafted Ford thinking he could play OT, but the evidence is overwhelming that he's too slow a foot to handle speed rushers. Admit that and move on, sliding him inside. Where he was drafted doesn't matter anymore.
I'm not sold on Spain as well, so moving Ford inside would likely improve two positions with one move...
