  1. What the hell kind of pants is that kid wearing? (OK Boomer)....
  2. Thanks for deflating my bubble somewhat, bub! Seriously, I agree with your points on these videos (which is why looking only at highlight compilations is fools gold). He didn't seem to have natural WR route seperation skills--more like a RB playing wideout. Very good athlete, but very raw as as a WR--surprisingly slow first step and not much disguise in his route running. As you mentioned, pretty meh as a blocker. On the other hand, Colorado's offense was getting manhandled in a lot of those games. The player he reminded me of, actually, was Stevie Johnson...
  3. I'd expect him to be in demand by the 'Skins as well...
  4. This thread sees premature, ahead of the draft. No need to cut anyone until we see how well we do filling positional holes with those picks, IMO...
  5. Based on McD's leadership comments regarding his time with the Panthers....Yes, we will.
  6. Sacks are often a group effort. If the DE's or blitzing LBs force the QB to step up in the pocket or try to run up the gut--right into the mitts of DTs, like Phillips--who's really making the play there? IMO, it seemed like Jordan was the beneficiary of that group effort a lot this year...
  7. As a side note, however, he did ask for Odell's phone number and as to if he was doing anything Saturday night...
  8. Doing a quick eyeball, the 2016 Pathers starting defense lost DE Jared Allen (33 yrs old, 187 NFL games), LB Charles Tilman (34 yrs old, 168 NFL games), SS Roman Harper (33 yrs old, 156 NFL games) and, as somebody else mentioned, CB Josh Norman (28 yrs old, 111 NFL Games). That's a lot of veteran leadership...
  9. It's hard to box with one hand tied behind your back...
  10. Based on post-season bowl performance between Burrow and Chase, it's laughable to think there's even debate about who's #1...
  11. This is how you start building a league-wide rep. Guaranteed, all the national stories on the Bills going forward will include mention of Edmunds...
  12. He may have to register as a sex offender if he loses his case...
  13. My guess is they'd rather have him in the AFC, to improve the Bills competitive odds...
  14. It's tough when your QB is your fastest big guy on offense...
  15. Don't. It takes experience to recognize something lame like that...
  16. I absolutely love that Sabol got in. At the same time, that just magnifies the weak argument against Tasker and "special teams." If you're going to let in a guy "who changed the way the game was shown," how can the selectors justify excluding a guy who changed the way the game was played??

  18. Don't forget McD. It seemed odd that he was clapping less at the end of the season. Tomorrow there'll be a picture of him with casts on his hands...
  19. "...Edwards is leaving South Carolina with an array of school accolades, including: most consecutive games with a reception (48), career receptions (234) and career receiving yards (3,054)." The first thing that comes to mind, though, is "how many of those receptions came in garbage time?" The Gamecocks were just 4-8 last year and 7-6 the year before. They typically got beat up like rented mules by the top SEC schools.
  20. Damn you, I think I just pulled some rib cartilage...
  21. I suspect that McD's mentoring philosophy is geared toward draft choices coming into the league, not veterans who've already been productive and know the ropes. In that sense, both Edmunds and Milano are now vets who'll be expected to mentor any young draft picks or UDFAs...
  22. Totally agree. No need to string it out for a rebuilding team that might not be good for 2-3 more years. Put that brain and work ethic to better use, just like Luck did...
