  1. Same reaction I had to the Snooze's decision to hire Sully in 1989. Go figure...
  2. Sadly so for TSW...
  3. Cordaro Howard is the only interior backup I see on the depth chart. That's living very dangerously, IMO...
  4. Agreed. The Bills need first round picks who can be "difference makers" rather than guys who fill a need, but are just adequate to mildly above average(i.e., Whitner). I liked Bulaga coming out, but not at the 9th pick. Spiller, on the other hand, has a chance to be the most dynamic offensive weapon the team's had since Thurmal...
  5. I'd say so on Brown. He's worth developing. The waiver wire better bring some help on the O-line, though...
  6. Keep trying. You'll get it right soon enough...
  7. Those 7th round picks are so valuable I bet Ozzie Newsome would gladly take one for Gaithers. Git Er' Done, Buddy...
  8. Same thing they did with Jason "best OT in the NFL" Peters...
  9. Yes, some posters remain consistent...
  10. Skooby Doo, Where Are You...
  11. Hey, thanks for joining my ignore list. It's crouded, but you'll fit in quite well...
  12. You do realize that only 3 guys get cut tomorrow...
  13. Fans that get upset about ST when with the roster size is 75+ players need to find a more productive use of their time, IMO.
  14. Or half season, if drawn from the ranks of some TSW posters...
  15. Smith weighed 216, which is not small on a 5'9" frame...
  16. How can people criticize the ST when half the guys out there won't be making the team...
  17. You can apply the same thinking to virtually all subjects beyond sports and fashion--ie, politics, history, the economy, etc. IMO, any topic that required a person to crack a book in college will be poorly covered by the general media. I speak to reporters frequently as part of my job and the mental picture I always get after these conversations is [ Empty Space ]. Sort of like many discussions on TSW, actually...
  18. Amen to that. Using a lame 'cost savings' excuse (when the player will be paid regardless) speaks to an agenda beyond being a fan of the team...
  19. That's not much of a professional impediment, in the grand scheme of things. In fact, it sounds more like an excuse to take the easy way out ("they won't talk to me") rather than do some leg work and develop other sources/resources, which Sully seems to have very few of.
  20. What may I ask does he have to fear?? He's got guild protection and short of a buy-out, will be at the Snooze until he retires...
