Bump. After the mental head smack of citing "Good Will Hunting" as the definitive characterization of Harvard students, this question begs to be answered...

Show of hands. How many TSW posters actually know/work with/have met a Harvard grad? The more than a few I know all seem to follow the Fitz example...which makes this whole thread a hoot.

I think we need to do something similar with TSW membership...although I'm not as optimistic about the pool of "good young talent" here.

Most likely for the same reason no other NFL team (or any employer, for that matter) does...health care privacy laws. And the fact it's none of our damn business...

Interesting that Julius Jones is going to be cut as well. His departure leaves Seattle with Justin Forsett, Leon Washington and Quinton Ganther as the running backs (quite a Murder's Row, there). A package deal for Lynch, perhaps...

High round picks are often a function of what the GM/owner wants, more than a function of who the college scouting department thinks is best. Think McGahee, Lynch, Whitner, Parrish, Hardy and on and on. Descretion over signing undrafted college free agents is more often given to the scouting department since these players are low risk/high reward propositions. That said, the NFL is littered with quality undrafted players, so the ability to find them is not exactly hen's teeth...

Same ratio applies to the veracity of opinions on any subject, sports or otherwise...
