The front offices' quest to get bigger and stronger was the most refreshing part of the game for me. It was a headslap to see the Bills pushing the Chiefs around on both sides of the ball. Physical, physical, physical...I can't say it enough, it feels so good. For the first time in years, the Bills aren't behind the eight ball before they even step on the field.

After reading that, I can't decide if I want to laugh or cry...

This just in: nobody buys an NFL team to make money operating it. It the scarcity value that attracts the big egos with the big wallets that makes it an attractive investment. Like owning art or diamonds, but a whole lot more fun...

But, but, but...second round picks always pan out on Madden!! No luck involved...

Or interesting, which is the heart of the matter. I've never learned a thing or gained an insight from anything Sully's written (i.e., this NFL insider said X or player Y was comparable statistically/talentwise to player Z, or in the history of the NFL, team A was great because of factor B, etc.). He has no access, contacts or knowledge base to draw from, and appears lazy to boot. In other words, just another loudmouthed drunk on a barstool...of which there are far more entertaining ones at TSW.

I'm not sure how "access" equates to "inside" information. Based on my experience, which includes speaking regularly to the press on behalf of my employer, it's difficult to believe anyone employed by a competent business (other than a whistleblower) would ever give inside info to a reporter. But, then again, we're talking about the Bills...

I just don't get this place. 50% cry Ralph's cheap and the team lacks talent...while the other 50% want to cut solid, if unspectacular guys with NFL talent who can still play. Round and round goes the merry-go-round. As a dime CB, Williams will get his fair share of snaps without being thrown to the wolves before the bye...

Good to see the execution, but to keep things in perspective, this line bears repeating from today's Jax news coverage: "Playing against a team lacking three of its best pass-rushers,, Fitzpatrick completed his first 11 passes and finished 11-of-12..."

On a team with modest talent and an abundent liklihood for injuries, the 'cut Kelsay' calls are good for a grin. Meet the new whipping boy, same as the old whipping boy...

That applies to TSW as well... Anybody with 14,000+ posts should be careful about making 'shelf life' comments...
