  1. Seemed happy enough at the time... Snooze interview
  2. Whoever took that video missed most of the play due to being jostled by people who'll now have lifetime memories he won't. Go figure....
  3. If C.J. can quickly pick up the sight reads to be on the same page with Fitz, this could be a real win-win move. I keep thinking they're keeping Spiller under wraps and will spring him on the Pats with a lot of short flares and screens to keep the pass rush off of Fitz...
  4. Great athlete but no instincts...gotta cringe whenever he's 1-on-1 in those situations.
  5. Yeah, that's a good choice. Another one's The Mission, with De Niro...
  6. Not too sure he gives a rat's ass what Bills fans think of him. And given all the politically correct blather these guys spew, it's sort of interesting he'd light the match on this one...
  7. Yes, that was the pinnacle for me. Froze my ass off and lost my voice, but what a great feeling...
  8. Never felt comfortable until we were up by three scores. The curse of being a long-term Bills fan, I suppose...
  9. Had the same thought (with visions of Big Sam running his INT back). Worried about the Raiders running game and DL this week, followed by Brady the week after. We better have some patience if things get a little hinky this month...
  10. Kids say the
  11. Very saddened to hear of your loss. My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
  12. Nah, this is Bills nation, where if we're not bitching, we're not breathing. Gotta find scabs to pick, pick, pick...
  13. Stats don't tell the story: Charles had runs of 4, 3, 4, 22, 2, 3, 14, 5, -1 and 5. McCluster's were 2, 23, 5 and 12. Jones was 1, 2. So other than four carries, the other running plays were all of 5 yards or less. The way the game unfolded, the Chiefs had to abandon the run pretty quickly. It will be interesting to see if the good job the Bills demonstrated today carries over to the Raiders game, given their solid group of big, powerful runners.
  14. Hey mods, anybody out there?
  15. Did you really think the Bills were going to throw at the end of the game when Thigpen was in there? Neither did KC. Or that run blitzing Spiller was a good tactic based on down and distance, but maybe not so smart when a cutback runner like Jackson was in the game?
  16. Stopped long ago...although my bird appears to find him interesting, on occasion.
  17. "Cut blocks are mainly legal in the open field where the defender can hurdle the offensive player but not at the line of scrimmage, where the tactic is particularly dangerous, sometimes causing career-threatening injuries." [This is an automated post] This thread is locked to persons under the age of 12...
  18. It was not the same defense. The Chiefs had eight in the box when White was in during garbage time (with the backup OL as well). Spiller also seemed to see more stacked fronts/run blitzes than when Jackson was in. I'd like to see a few swing passes to CJ to keep the defense honest rather than crouding the line. That said, Fred's run-after-contact was outstanding today...
  19. The average age of posters on that board appears to be about 13...
  20. With so many kids on ST, it was probably a decision to take a big runback out of the equation. With only one gunner near the ball on most punts, it seemed like they weren't going for pooches/coverage.
  21. Nope. Any yabo with Internet access can spout pessimism year after year...as TSW clearly shows. But a professional columist who's 'product' has been as mediocre as Sully's has been should thank his luck stars that he's not on the unemployment line with hundreds of more interesting, informative and talented folks I'd rather read for my eight bits. No access, no insight, no work ethic, no reason to read...'ol Jerry hits for the cycle. +1 You, I or anybody else on TSW...
