  1. No, that's was too many years ago...
  2. Of course, the 'manage ignore users' feature makes it it bit more bearable...
  3. Absolutely not. I had more enjoyment of the Bills' "product" during the first month of the season than I've had in a decade. That positive hasn't been negated by the last five weeks. This team had zero expectations of success coming into the season, so their reversion to that "mean" over the past month is not a failure, except to bandwagon jumpers or 80% of TSW (one in the same, actually).
  4. It's threads like these that make TSW the preemininent "must read" site it is. Scott, you should be so proud...
  5. This. After the Pittsburgh drop last year, you'd hope that some maturity and professionalism would have set in. His post-game comments should be telling. (I'd also like to hear Gailey defend why he ran Choise on first down of the offensive series that went 3-and-out prior to the Jests game winning drive).
  6. Like that will happen....
  7. You !@#$. What the hell good are mods when this **** can be posted, despite what happens on the field...
  8. Less and less, as what used to be an enjoyable once or twice a week entertainment respite from the 'real world' has become a raging 24/7 media monster, where personalities and 'plot lines' matter more than honest competition. The evolution of Internet MB content to nothing more than incessant bitching and moaning has helped speed the slide down this slippery slope for me as well...
  9. Thanks for the thoughtful post. It reminded me of why TSW used to be such a great place to talk Bills football...
  10. You do realize that that piece is an amature blog--not a legit, accredited media 'article'? In other words, a very pretty version of the flatulant posts that clog so much of the TSW bowl...
  11. Beat me to it...
  12. Yep... Yeah, let's have more old ex-players with sub-75 IQs since they "know the game"...
  13. TSW already has enough idiots, thanks...
  14. Yes, you certainly are...
  15. ...the fact that so many posters can't understand that the national media exists to ballwash fans in the major markets that contribute so much to their advertising revenue. It's simple prostitution, man. Don't take it personnally.
  16. He was absolutely right. As a QB he knows when a WR takes the easy out by cutting off the pattern short of the sticks. The 'Skins recivers did it a few times as well...
  17. We now return to our regularly scheduled programming...
  18. Pot, meet kettle...
  19. The top personal tax rate in New York State is 8.97% and that is scheduled to fall to 7.85% next year...
  20. I am. See ya...
  21. Hard to say a guy with that many Pro Bowls was underappreaciated... Some guys I'd add to the list: Jay Riemersma Glenn Parker Marvcus Patton Joe Devlin Steve Freeman
  22. Such a loss. The more you read about how he affected his teamates and their families, the more you realize what a special guy Kent was: "The last time Hull walked through the Bills locker room, his peers gave him a 6-minute standing ovation." "Levy's wife, Fran, was so heartbroken she sobbed openly upon learning the news. Patti Thomas, the wife of Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas, also had difficulty speaking because she was overcome by emotion when reached by phone. In an email to The Associated Press, Thurman Thomas wrote: "We have suffered a tremendous loss. Kent was a teammate, big brother and best friend. My heart breaks for His amazing family. My heart breaks period. He will be a best friend and in my heart forever."
