  1. He's a dynamic runner but where I think he's going to really be an outstanding pro is in the passing game. He just reminds me so much of Thurman Thomas everytime I see him make a catch. Add that skill set to the Bills and you've got the next best thing to KC in terms of "which weapon do you cover" from a defensive game planning situation. And if he can get 8-10 runs a game to spell Singletary, you've got one hell of a dangerous backfield. Add a low-cost vet as the sledgehammer goal line specialist and boom...
  2. I just put you on ignore. And people say there are no coincidences. How silly...
  3. Lol! Well, you're right about Redfield and the CDC (Thanks, Obama!)... https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2020/03/19/cdc-top-us-public-health-agency-is-sidelined-during-coronavirus-pandemic/ https://finance.yahoo.com/news/mike-pences-office-abruptly-cancels-cdc-officials-interview-with-yahoo-finance-201712184.html EDIT: And after thinking about it some more, I think you're right about Fauci as well. He upstaged Trump at the daily rally (Opps! I mean press conference) last week and he hasn't been seen there since.
  4. "Hi Yannick. This is the University of Maryland calling. If possible, could you please not let on about that great education you got here?..."
  5. How is this guy any better than Foster? Or Williams? He had an OK 2018 but four catches in 2019? 6. How do you know another RB isn't better? Or maybe as good, but $3-$4 million cheaper? High-priced RBs are a bad use of cap space, even if it is a one or two year contract. If you fill your rotational RB need and have money left to sign another quality CB or OL or WR with the savings from not signing Gordon at $6-$7 million, the team would be stronger IMO...
  7. Did I say I was opposed to spending money? Nope. I said why spend starter money on a rotational RB. When those dolars could be allocated to other needs by drafting/signing a lower cost RB.
  8. I'm mixed on this. Paying a guy $6-$7 million to be a rotational RB? I'd much rather draft a RB or get a cheaper veteran option and put those savings to work elsewhere....
  9. On CNN last night... https://www.cnn.com/videos/us/2020/03/19/dr-anthony-fauci-young-people-coronavirus-swine-flu-cpt-vpx.cnn/video/playlists/coronavirus/ Three hours ago.... https://nypost.com/2020/03/19/melania-trump-fauci-to-appear-in-psas-on-coronavirus/ 30 minutes ago....
  10. Not a fan of this. Get a young RB with low milage in the draft, not an arthritic guy we've "heard of"...
  11. https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/lsu-football/joe-burrow-clyde-edwards-helaire-lsu-best-athlete-2019/ Dan Patrick: “Who was the best athlete on the team?” Joe Burrow: “Clyde Edwards-Helaire.” Patrick: “No question?” Burrow: “No question.” Patrick: “Really?” Burrow: “(He’s) Unreal. He’s going to play for 20 years (in the NFL). Everyone looks at all my stats because we threw the ball so much, because we had great guys on the outside as well, but, I mean, Clyde is a different beast.”
  12. He must be working from home tonight...
  13. There's smoke. But maybe not Buffalo... "A second-round pick out of Mississippi State in 2013, Slay has indicated he wants a new deal that will make him among the highest-paid cornerbacks in the NFL, whether it's from the Lions or another team." https://www.freep.com/story/sports/nfl/lions/2020/03/18/detroit-lions-darius-slay-trade/2868669001/
  14. He doesn't wake up until 8:00 pm...
  15. They are NOT spending their top two picks on WRs (with Diggs essentially being this year's #1). They can draft a developmental WR in the 5th or 6th round...
  16. I think Edwards-Helaire would be a home run in the passing game, letalone what he can do as a runner. He's the closest thing to Turman Thomas I can recall in a long, long time running the wheel route...
  17. I edited my post. They all played together in 2013 and 2014. Yannick and Jefferson have to be really tight as they played together three years, from 2013-15...
  18. Yes. They were all teamates on the 2014 Terps team. Diggs then left for the NFL and Ngakoue and Jefferson were on the 2015 team... https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/schools/maryland/2014.html
  19. I'm sure he still wants to start somewhere, so I can't see Buffalo in that mix...
