  1. Yep, his scheme is very simple--fly to the ball. This kid won't have to digest a big playbook and can just let 'er rip...
  2. Good pick, good value. Big hitter, will bring a knockout punch mentaility to the LB corp that we've not had in a while. Supposedly good in pass coverage as well. The needs are getting filled...
  3. Terrell Manning...fingers crossed.
  4. Yeah. Not quite the same frame, though. Smith was more the fireplug, while Graham looks more Lee Evan-ish. Hopefully he can grow into a Smith-like body...
  5. Yes, that's a concern. Smaller guys with small hands like Steve Smith have to learn how to protect the ball. It's something that they can develop, however, much like Smith did.
  6. Glenn will play at 325 (his weight as a Junior). He was asked to go up to 345 as a senior, so he can just as easily drop those pounds... Seen the thread about that not being Glenn who got beat in that video?
  7. I'm not a fan of Cousins, but I suspect the Bills will pick him with one the fouths...
  8. IMO, the life cycle of celebrityhood is starting to kick in with Mayock: Phase 1: No-name video junkie who spends hours in the film room (see Buchsbaum, Joel) breaking down players and developing expetise. Phase 2: The up-and-coming guy who people realize is really, really knowlegeable Phase 3: The guy whose evaluation everybody wants to read Phase 4: The over-extended media "talent" that seems to be everywhere (that NFLN masters of ceremony mock draft gig he did was a hoot) Phase 5: The "hey, remember when he was good" phase, which is starting to kick in now, IMO Phase 6: The "Oh, him again?" stage Phase 7: "Who?"
  9. Special Teams, Part II Pretty well spoken kid.
  10. Character counts...
  11. Some real nice plays (2 TDs), a couple not so nice... TJ vs. Wake Forrest Same here. Some great plays and some clunkers. Looks like he's got a lot of raw skills but nowhere near a polished wideout.
  12. Here's a long (14+ min) package of with some TJ Graham highlights (as a returner, a couple of TD grabs)... (as a sidenote, some of those ACC opponenets are pretty bad)
  13. Quick and fast: 3rd in the three-cone and tied for 11th in the 40-yard at the combine.
  14. Kuechly tackled him a lot?? (sorry, couldn't resist)
  15. "Graham is undersized at receiver but has started sparingly throughout his career for North Carolina State. His value lies in his peed." I can see it now--the pisser offense...
  16. Must have been Ralph's token pick this year. The Roscoe 2.0 analogy looks about right. But Chan loved the little guy and was sorry he couldn't stay on the field. He must have something designed for this kid. Simply being a decoy will only work for so long...
  17. "Manage Ingored User 101" Room: 41 Time: 4...3...2...1...
  18. Joe Buscaglia has been camped out at OBD the past few days. He said on the air tonight that the Bills had Kuechly behind Barron and Gilmore on their board...
  19. Walter football? That's the Bleacher Report of draft sites...
  20. Back to his own team's MB...
  21. Senior Bowl press conference: http://yfrog.com/nvjgxxhj nice...
  22. The Bills offense isn't built on a lot of 7-step drops or time consuming routes--2.5 seconds and the ball is out. That's what these guys aren't taking into consideration. That's why Hairston could step in as a rookie and not get embarassed--and why Glenn will be an effective LOT in Buffalo. These draft guys look at every player in a bubble, but the scheme the pick is coming into makes a big difference in their success.
  23. Yeah, trolling does get old...
