  1. OP, you should hire yourself out as a headline writer for the Snooze or some other media outlet. You've got the technique down cold...
  2. Yeah, just like his dogs...
  3. Easy to say from the left coast...
  4. What a surprise...
  5. It's been true for a long time. I'm not even sure why this fact is even surprising...
  6. "Winslow’s $3.3 million base salary is hefty for a role player, regardless of how much cap room a team has."
  7. [/url] Maybe they're the only ones...
  8. Just ignore him. Chan's rep around the league (and what keeps getting him hired) is that he can work effectively with mediocre talent/opportunities (that more renowned OCs or HCs avoid--right Shanny?). He adapts to what he has, rather than trying to pound square pegs into round holes...
  9. Who says we didn't: 2000 Season W-L (lost both games) 2001 Season W-L (lost both games)
  10. Not just your opinion (especially Kelly running his own offense)...
  11. Last year's o-line was NOT a roadgrader bunch that could impose their will on the defense. Adding Glenn and Saunders may help, but until they "do it," there's no reason to think this is a run-first team. The success they had last year was based on mixing up the play calling (so teams were often expecting pass) and Fred's exceptional ability to see the cut back and NOT go where the play was designed to run (CJ also started to pick up on this as he got more reps). Spreading the field and giving our RBs the option to pick their holes is how Chan will likely go this year as well.
  12. Run when the D thinks pass and pass when they think run...
  13. And those YPC were probably aided by the defense being aligned against the pass as a result of Chan's play calling. In obvious short yardage situations, the o-line didn't excell that much that it would convince Gailey this could be a smashmouth "run-when-the-D-knows-you're-running" team (although Glenn may give them a better ability to run left in 2012): 2011 Rushing Power Success--LEFT: 50% (ranked 30th) 2011 Rushing Power Success--CENTER: 65% (ranked 15th) 2011 Rushing Power Success--RIGHT: 60% (ranked 15th) Rushing Power Success = Percentage of rushes on 3rd or 4th down with 2 or fewer yards to go that achieved a first down or TD. Also includes rushes on 1st-and-goal and 2nd-and-goal from the opponent's 2-yard line or closer.
  14. "but when it came time to pay the dancers, he was unresponsive." WTF, you mean she (they?) never realized the guy had croacked until it was time to pay? Like a guy moaning and groaning and then going limp is BAU? Then again, maybe it is...
  15. LOL! I know I saw it in one of the scouting reports I read...I'll look for it and post the link. (although directional kicking in Florida has to bea bit easier than Buffalo in Nov-Dec and hopefully Jan!)
  16. Shoddy journalism! Clearly the guy didn't investigate the entire Roll-a-Bout product line...
  17. Yes, that will be intersting to see since Powell's scouting report says he's long, but directionally eratic. That's a big liability in a windy stadium like RWS, so Moorman's accumulated knowledge is likely to keep him in contention, even if his physical skills might be in decline...
  18. I assume that's why he was drafted SIXTH by Dallas....
  19. Try selling that argument to advertisers.
  20. Yeah. We're not a large market team with a national following, so the Bills will never get a whiff at anything like that kind of programming...
  21. Not surprising. That's par for the course around here...
  22. Sorta like Bubba from Forrest Gump: "You got your up-front signing bonus which counts against this year's cap. And your workout bonus that's paid on June First. And your incentive payments for..."
