  1. Yeah, the 'I told you so' croud is pretty boring...
  2. Most intelligent thing I've read on the Wall this morning...
  3. Seems to me that all the passing with the 'ones' was designed to answer one question: Can Glenn hold up in pass pro vs. quality opponents. That issue has to be settled as soon as possible, otherwise Hairston will be moved back to the left side. Unfortunately, Fitz's poor performance raises even more questions. I'm not a fan of the no huddle with the young WRs we have, so hopefully this was just an experiment rather than a sneek peak of the scheme Chan is going to emphasize this year.
  4. That site has incredibly low barriers to entry. Staff, indeed: http://www.rantsports.com/staff/ Too funny: "The quickly growing Rant Sports network will give you the opportunity to be your own writer, with your own personality, and settle for the best of the best sports minds on the internet today." http://www.rantsports.com/about/ Maybe they should advertise for 'talent' on the back of matchbook covers...
  5. Chuck's plan seems a bit pointless to me. He seems to be arguing that the immediate repayment of $25-$50 million (the Bills' probable contribution to RWS rennovation) in G4 loans upon the team being sold would be a deal breaker for a future owner. On a billion dollar transaction, that's nothing more than a few extra 'closing costs' IMO. A deep-pocketed buyer would likely just shrug them off as a cost of doing business, or find some creative accounting treatment to absorb their impact. With team valuations rising at 8%-10% per year, the extra loan repayment burden would be recouped in a few years anyway...
  6. Is the 'ignore user' feature not installed yet? Mine's not working...
  7. Glad to see the Wall shifting from it's offseason euphoria to regular season Chicken Little mode. That means its time to play some football (Thursday night can't come quick enough)...
  8. "Thank you fellows, all of you, so very, very much."
  9. Pretty faces cum, pretty faces go. Whoop d doo...
  10. Oh man, that picture is tough to look at. As is this one. Today's story from the Canton Rep...
  11. Agreed. If he checks out physically, he'd make a thin spot less worrisome...
  12. Probably because he was lined up 40 yards off the LOS in Dick's 'bend and bend some more' D-scheme. It would take him about 20 seconds to run from somewhere approximately on Abbott Road to the wideout catching the ball in front of him...
  13. As backup depth, he'd be a fine pickup. As I remember 'Lil Oppie during his time here, he was always a step away from making a play. That may have been the passive nature of Jauron's defense (think "punt catcher"), however. After a few years of playing the more agressive schemes in Baltimore and New Jersey, he may have learned a thing or two...
  14. Not to be snide, but what did you expect by your OP--to be told how right you are? If so, I bet you also like yelling "Fire!" in theaters or cross-dressing at Chick-a-Fil...
  15. It's interesting that Murph and Brad (staples of the One on One Sports era at WBEN) now provide alternatives to the "consutant's playbook/lowest common denominator" format that 'GR's run for so many years, or the bomb throwing approach the Snooze columnists (not the beat guys or Tim Graham) have embraced. Looks like a brighter day is coming for Buffalo sports fans...
  16. And I think Murph's in the same boat (despite allusions otherwise). He's got enough "game" to be critical (when necessary) without throwing bombs or pushing people under the bus. In other words, he's a lot more talented than the columnists at the Snooze...
  17. Samantha Torres...
  18. And yet the front page of Two Bills Drive is filled with more stories than I can remember for the first day of TC. Go figure... Too bad he couldn't have brought the Buckster with him...
  19. Better to lock up Levitre and Bryd with that $$$$...
  20. All teed up...
  21. Yep. What comes around, goes around... Ride, Sally, Ride.
  22. Another tree falls in the forest... I'm talking about the current team. Very few of them will get a chance to transfer to quality programs at this point in the season when all the scholarships have been already allocated.
