  1. It's a real mystery to me why he hasn't been picked up by anyone (to my knowledge) yet. He's not the best, but far from the worst option, IMO...
  2. + One Million The problem is the 16-page limit that forces you to add and delete like whack-a-mole to keep the clutter down...
  3. I agree as well. His trouble adjusting to the pro game after being at a sub-FBS program last year is not the same as being a bad apple. The stuff about him not paying attention and being a me-me guy is just hearsay, until we see what the PS looks like after Aug 31.
  4. Started out funny, ended up juvenile...like most things from that site.
  5. Whooo. At least it wasn't the Peter Pan guy...
  6. I suspect very few guys cut at this stage get picked up. Teams are too set on getting their final rosters in place to devote time to a "project". That's what the practice squad is good for and we won't know until Aug 31 what kind of action he'll likely have...
  7. Makes me think of Willie Totten and the replacement player games. Thank God it's still preseason....
  8. Not necessarily. Jason Peters was handled the same way, although he was doing a position switch which may have allowed the Bills the cover to sneak him onto the PS...
  9. +1 How long has it been since the local media had any inside info at OBD? I get more team scuttlebutt from TSW than I do the Snooze or lesser outlets...
  10. Exactly. Nothing to see here....
  11. Clearly the second item....
  12. Sigh....Aaron Williams' most noteworthy hit to date.
  13. Practice squads are assembled after the final rosters are set, so he'll be a FA for another two weeks. Some team may take a flyer on him in the meantime, but he'd very likely have problems picking up a new playbook in a week. If he likes the coaching staff, it's possible he'll be back...
  14. http://www.nfl.com/v...1/Lewis-TD-pass TD throw in week 17 against Pittsburgh... http://www.detroitli...af-1910a01a6f72 Jim Schwartz on Lewis... http://www.dukechronicle.com/articles/2010/04/20/qb-lewis-hopes-name-called-nfl-draft He's a quick learner: But in evaluating Lewis’s intangibles, there’s plenty for NFL teams to like. From the moment he took over in the second series of his freshman opener against Richmond until his final snap senior year, Lewis played under the direction of three different offensive coordinators. For each of his first three seasons, Lewis was burdened with learning a new offensive scheme in just a few months before being thrown right into the action in the fall. What do you think?
  15. College highlight clip...he's undersized, but appears to have pretty good movement skills.
  16. This thread is the definitive reason SDS needs to increase the size of the 'ignore users' feature if he wants TSW to be of any value to Bills fans...
  17. Bupkis. The number of reps a fourth string QB gets on a daily basis would never (let me repeat that, never) provide a credible option if that guy were forced into the lineup.
  18. Hard to say. This thread is filled with some good ones...
  19. Where does Pat White stand as the fourth QB after RGIII comes back? He'd look pretty good if he comes available...
  20. You know, the guy with 19 career fumbles on 1,141 touches...
  21. Wrong. According to the 'GR sound vault link I attached, Brandon said only 60% of December games sold out during the glory years of the 1990s....
  22. http://audio.wgr550.com/a/67152760/11-28-russ-brandon-discusses-ticket-sales.htm "December has always been a challanege in this market, for whatever reason...." http://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Daily/Issues/2012/11/15/Franchises/Bills.aspx "Bills CEO Russ Brandon said, “It's a proven fact that in December in Buffalo, it's difficult to attain sellout status at our facility. December games are a challenge. But competitively, there's no place we'd rather play meaningful games than at home in front of our fans.” http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2013/4/18/4240936/bills-2013-schedule-set-up-to-avoid-blackouts "In 2012, the Bills had three games at Ralph Wilson Stadium during December. Not surprisingly, all three would have been blacked out had a local business owner not purchased 10,000 tickets for the game against the St. Louis Rams. Despite their fandom, many casual and diehard Bills fans find it hard to make it to an open air stadium in the middle of December in uncomfortable weather conditions."
