  1. Come on people...my ignore list is full and it's too damn much trouble to keep pruning it. I'll make one more exception, however...
  2. Bucky should send Warren Buffet a thank you note every day that he gets paid for what he does...
  3. Agreed. Sully takes the same approach as the 'Fire! in the Theater' posters here at TSW. The more outrageous the position, the more eyeballs, click-throughs, rebuttals it draws. The lowest common denominator appeal that draws attention for a few days, but doesn't shed much light on anything....
  4. For some reason, I've found the Orchard Park Duff's to be nowhere near as good as the original in Amherst....
  5. It's apparent that a segment of posters are now just throwing stuff up (apt metaphor) to get a reaction. That's too bad, as all it does is drive the long-term folks who want to have a discussion farther and farther from the wall....
  6. Keep thinking that way. And let the supposed 'hot spots' that people flock to, lemming-like, get more and more congested. I like my elbow room...

  8. Doubtful... http://www.buffalonews.com/city-region/gallagher-beach-small-boat-harbor-to-be-operated-as-a-state-park-20130903 "The new plan also appears to present a major obstacle to a group advocating construction of a new stadium for the Buffalo Bills on the site, which has so far been largely ignored by top government officials and the NFTA."
  9. This is the rational thing to do. Don't let emotion dictate, send a message that it's "just business" and move on. The only problem I see is that safeties don't have the value that good left tackles do, so it will be a smaller group of trade partners to work with.
  10. "Coming in, I did know there was going to be a transition with Doug (Whaley) and Buddy Nix." Actually, who DIDN'T know this. It's been reported for two years that Whaley was being groomed for the GM position. Why shouldn't Marrone know about it as well? http://buffalobillss...y-promoted.html http://profootballta...firing-tracker/ http://www.buffaloru...ger-doug-whaley
  11. Chronic Injuries? He's missed four games in four years--that doesn't sound like chronic by my definition. I agree with the idea that a first and a third would be a fair return...and something a rebuilding team like this one could really use. They're not winning this year and Bryd will be another year older next year. Make the trade and build around the core of younger guys. There's way too much emotion being tossed around on this, IMO.
  12. So true. The 16 page ignore limit is a real shortcoming...

  15. In other words, the skill set necessary to be All-Pro posters at TSW... (pays about the same, as well)
  16. http://dailycaller.com/2013/09/01/peta-wants-pregnant-women-banned-from-wing-eating-contest/ “I think we can agree that embarrassment and insecurity are no small matters.” She added, “[E]vidence indicates that heterosexual women’s sexual satisfaction depends in part on their partner’s penis size.” LOL....
  17. IIRC, he made a lot of tackles on his first go-round as a Bill...since he was always two steps behind on making a play on the receiver.
  18. Meh. IMO, Lil' Oppie was the 11th best defender on the field when he was a Raven and maybe the 9th-10th as a Jet. It's sad to think he'd be higher than that as a Bill, but at this stage of the rebuilding effort, it is what it is...
  19. Absolutely...that on a MB supposedly filled with knowledgeable fans, we're four pages into this thread and not one bit of objective background has been added on the guy. Just bellyaching by the usual suspects. He sounds like a guy who can play in Pettine's scheme: http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/brandon-burton?id=2495498 "Burton could become a great starting corner for a team with a press-heavy scheme..." http://min.scout.com/2/1068689.html Burton is at his best in man coverage, showing the speed and quickness to run with any receiver. At the line of scrimmage, he shows tenacity when pressing the receiver and is willing to challenge anyone that lines up opposite him. Once the ball is in the air, Burton uses his exceptional height and timing skills to compete for the football... http://www.vikings.com/media-vault/videos/Brandon-Burton-Draft-Profile/8772ca1f-df1f-436a-8eaa-1c2433803fcc Burton is projected as a second round pick...
  20. Not at all...since their personnel dept. is so much smarter than ours...
  21. Same old, same old... http://www.miamiherald.com/2013/08/23/3580325/richie-incognito-remains-silent.html Deadspin: http://deadspin.com/the-security-guard-richie-incognito-punched-is-a-former-1180365706
  22. LOL! Mystery solved...
