  1. RIP As an impressionalbe pre-teen, I loved the way Sean Connery would pronounce her role name: Puuuuusssssssy....
  2. Why not? Thurman wasn't that big a part of the passing game at Oklahoma State, but we saw how he made the offense hum when he was a Bill. That kind of passing game production is easily projected on CEH... 3. As others have said, the first two years were about building a core roster. This year may be more about fine tuning that roster as the core is largely in place. Another tendancy Beane has, IMO, is to look to the future when making his draft picks, focusing on guys who can step in in a year or two when current starters are no longer on the roster or have lost a step. That's why Edge, CB and WR are still in play, in addition to RB, big nickle and O-line...
  4. I'm not sure why that's a problem. If both guys are equally effective, that's one hell of a backfield. The whole concept of a 'thunder and lightning' tandem (two different skill sets) seems old school to me in a pass-happy NFL. Having RB1 and RB2 that can run AND play a large role in the passing game is where the game's headed , IMO. RB3 can be a pile driver, short yardage specialist. Those guys are easy to find...

  6. Maybe for the practice squad...
  7. Of the guys you mention, the Bills scouted Troy Dye twice according to Astro's excel chart. He sounds like someone to keep an eye on. Could he play the Alexander role in our scheme?...
  8. Kelsay was 20 pounds heavier, a tenth faster, more athletic (36.5" vertical vs. 32.5") and had longer arms (32.5" vs 31.25") than Wilkins. 10. Maybe they decided the second tier or WRs (after the Big-3) weren't worthy of pick #22 (i.e., Tee Higgins). But I don't think they'd pass on one if they slipped to #54 and they had a much higher (15-20 slots) grade on him. That said, I don't think they'll take a WR before round 3...
  11. Joe had him taken a couple of spots before, at pick #51 (Cowboys)...
  12. Agreed. Dugger is this year's measurables darling IMO. No way he can step into the NFL and play a meaningful role, other than ST this year...
  13. Dugger worries me (24 years old, big fish in a small pond, is he maxed out?), but the rest of that draft has plenty to love...
  14. Woah! That is essentially a freebee contract. There is virtually no risk to the Bills, other than taking away snaps from someone else in training camp...

  16. Yeah, he had part of his left lung removed two years ago. Can't imagine how much function it has left, but better than none at all. Fingers crossed...
  17. "Accurate rather than guy with a cannon"
  18. Yeah. He seems like the longest of long shots. He's not athletic like Josh and his long ball looks more like a heave than a throw. That said, he seems to have pretty good recognition and decision making skills, so maybe a priority UFDA and camp invite are worth it...
  19. Yes indeed. And some turds smell more than others...
  20. OTs almost universally are harder to find and have longer careers than LBs. That said, there will be no problems with the cap that would preclude signing both guys...
  21. LOL!. He's a poor man's Josh Allen.... NFL.com Overview It's easy to tell that the Green Bay native favors quarterbacks like Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers when you watch his tape. Unfortunately, while he has similar zip to the Packer legends, he's nowhere near as accurate and lacks any semblance of touch. Morgan is very capable of making impressive throws to all areas of the field, but his violent release and inconsistent footwork hinder functional ball placement and accuracy. His lack of pocket mobility and instincts make him too easy for defensive coordinators to assault with a variety of blitz packages. He's a tough guy with a big arm and the 2018 tape is the one to watch, but QB3 may be his ceiling.
  22. Well, not according to him...
