  1. Ignore the rabble...that's just how TSW (and public discorse in general) swings. Props to you for passing along the tip...
  2. So are the Custom's agents on the bridges...think of the overtime possibilities!
  3. Not a fan of the player, but respect the move since there's no downside in February. Still, he'd better have used the past year to get his shiit together: http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/nfl/miami-dolphins/article1957240.html
  4. That was when the Butler family owned the paper. Now that Warren Buffett's the owner, that whole vibe is long gone...
  5. Love the juxtaposition of those two posts. TSW always makes me smile....
  6. Hard to tell what you're seeing because all they said was they didn't like the Exchange Street site. Neither guy said they were against a downtown stadium...just not that particular site. "Louis Billittier Jr. favors a new Bills stadium downtown." "At the same time, Sandoro said he was eager to see a new stadium downtown." http://www.buffalonews.com/city-region/development/several-businesses-would-be-among-casualties-of-exchange-street-stadium-site-20150128 The tend that I am seeing is this: "I'm [potential displaced resident/business] against it until I know how much you'll pay me to put it here..."
  7. Ergo, not corporate types. So who will the prospective ticket holders be, if they can't write off their seats as a business expense? Still seems misdirected to me...
  8. Easy Peasy... http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/175497-time-to-ditch-billy-the-buffalo/?p=3428683
  9. Wow! $75K for that? Way too expensive, IMO, especially for a fair weather city like Miami. Then again, never underestimate...
  10. "What a dumbass." In this case, we could go a couple of ways with that statement...
  11. Scott - has the limitation on number of ignored users been changed with the new server. Can I go above 16 pages!
  12. Agreed. And in the simplistic world of media hype, a Brady vs. Big Ben match up is a lot more marketable than Brady vs. E.J./other non-HOF QB...
  13. Never use the words 'thought' and 'provoking' in the same sentence when referring to Esmonde...
  14. That thought crossed my mind when they had Wilson line up in the shotgun. Still, the ramifications of who's the "hero" are a lot to think about in the heat of the moment. The easier explanation is they just had a brain cramp...
  15. Yeah, that's the right way to use your weapons. A pass wasn't necessarily the wrong call (I'm sure that's what the Pats would have run if the roles had been reversed). It was just THAT route and THAT targeted wideout that made no sense whatsoever. The congestion in that area was off the charts. The ball could have been batted, all kinds of bad things could--and did--happen. A roll out by Wilson giving him the option to throw it out of the endzone if he didn't think he could make it would have been the best alternative to handing it to Lynch and using the timeout if he got stuffed (which, if he runs away from Wolfolk, I can't see happening)...
  16. Peter King alludes to this in today's MMQB: http://mmqb.si.com/2015/02/02/super-bowl-49-patriots-defeat-seahawks/2/ One Patriot told me...he thought Belichick bypassed the timeout because the coach was comfortable defensively—as comfortable as he could be with who was on the field trying to stop Lynch—and that a timeout would have given Seattle a chance to stop and consider different plays, and why give the enemy more time to think?
  17. The ignore user feature is a wonderful thing...
  18. These guys... http://www.gamespot.com/articles/madden-predicted-super-bowl-final-score/1100-6425031/
  19. And back in the day, Marv used to handle the goal line calls, becuase the buck stops with the HC...
  20. That call is on the HC as well. No way Carroll doesn't weigh in on that decision...
  21. One TO in their pocket makes the call even more boneheaded...
  22. What a bad call... no way Lynch doesn't get a yard...
