  1. Good for him. I think he can be quite effective there and have a nice career....
  2. Tend to agree. The longer he's in Miami, the smaller the window becomes. As much as I'd like to see Clay in the Red, White and Blue, we've made a lot of progress without him so far this off season. Beef up the OL with a good veteran signing, draft a TE and I'll be very satisfied...
  3. Forcing the D to spread out to cover multiple threats will make it easier for the OL to open holes and for McCoy to do his cut back thing. I suspect it'll be a lot like how Thurman was so successful in the K-Gun...
  4. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/03/13/bills-sign-percy-harvin-to-a-one-year-deal/
  5. If he does, you can be sure Belichick will make sure he catches at least one TD against the Bills next year...
  6. Agreed. C.J. could never live up to where he was drafted but he was still a good guy who represented the team and city well....
  7. At least he gets to keep his snow shovel...
  8. LOL...at least for us. I doubt fans in most NFL cities are wearing out their F5 keys to the same extent we are...
  9. Probably Kenrick Ellis... From last May: http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/jets/post/_/id/39381/jets-secret-superstar-is-kenrick-ellis
  10. To put this in context, the 2010 draft was pretty much a clunker for many teams.... http://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2010/draft.htm
  11. Sarcasm's hard in the NFL, I hear...
  12. Foregiven by whom? Teammates? Coaches? The FO? Those folks foregive all the time because they know its the nature of the beast. I'm really curious about your connection to the team as with each succeding post you paint a picture of someone who's more outsider than insider...
  13. Well, I guess I owe you a beer on Chandler. His lack of fit in Roman's offense has to be the thing driving this decision...
  14. None of us know in March 2015....including Doug & Rex. All you can do is build a plan and try to execute on it. So far, that's what OBD appears to be doing...
  15. At 6'7" how high does he have to get to high point the ball? I also didn't see a DB contesting any of those high throws. Look, I get it. Chandler's a traditional TE in a league that increasingly values hybrid HB/TEs with RB movement skills. There's room for both types and they increase game planning flexibility. Chandler's a good-not-great TE and should help us again this year...
  16. I think there's a lot of selective memory around here. Is he a top-tier TE? No, of course not. But he's an effective guy who would be a fine complement to Clay...
  17. If he's on his back looking at the sky he does....
  18. Dang. Who's left of any quality at the FA OL trough?
  19. Yep. And have Garrison Sanborn snap the ball to the QB in a deep, deep shotgun formation...
  20. How about changing the title of this thread... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/03/10/report-charles-clay-to-visit-buffalo/
  21. Oh well, on to the next option. I hope they don't get a run on OL FAs that dries up the pool before we can even dip our toe in the water....

  23. He's just sore that his "bye" thread blew up on him...
