  1. July 11.... http://buffalo.com/2015/03/15/uncategorized/billboard-teases-rolling-stones-announcement/
  2. Clay highlights (nice catch at the 22 sec. mark)...
  3. I hope it's firing in the kiln right now...
  4. The Bills are being very coy about the Harvin signing....I supect to keep Miami guessing about what impact it will have on their cap situation. So Brown won't go all official yet, even though he's in the building...
  5. Easy enough to make a pickup run and be back in BUF for an announcement tomorrow....
  6. AirPegs on the move again... http://flightaware.com/live/flight/XSR960
  7. No way, no how did Ralph have the liquidity that Pegs had. Ralph's weath was all illiquid assets like ownership of the Bills franchise and his other business holdings...not like the $4 billion in cash like Pegs got when he sold his energy compant to Shell...
  8. https://twitter.com/andrewrpowell/status/576941912399073280 http://www.chatsports.com/buffalo-bills/a/Miami-Dolphins-expect-Charles-Clay-to-go-to-Buffalo-Bills-2-11239251 On like a MOFO...
  9. Atlanta may be in the driver seat on him... http://espn.go.com/blog/atlanta-falcons/post/_/id/12339/could-rob-housler-be-falcons-answer-at-tight-end
  10. Sigh...Not a fan of either guy's arm in that game....
  11. Good thing games aren't played in March... Awaiting your next big tip, however...
  12. Well, they could have Van Gundy'd him...
  13. Well, you know..."Don't confuse effort with results!"
  14. Agreed. If he becomes a problem, he's gone. If he doesn't, he's a huge weapon. I don't see a downside.
  15. Really? Harvin was in the works before Clay went back to Florida so that doesn't count. Since then, what have they been working on? We don't know, but the Twitter-verse has been really quiet...
  16. If the defense has another year like 2014--or even improves--it will be hard to keep them together from a $$$ standpoint. That's just the reality of the NFL today. So taking their shot now, even without a quality QB, is what Whaley's trying to do. Who knows what might happen in the AFC. If Brady gets injured, Manning gets another year older, Luck comes up short again, etc. even a "ground and pound" team could go very far in the playoffs. Roll them bones, Doug...
  17. If he signs the tag, his 2015 cap number will be $7 million, right? I suspect the Fins' would like to get that down to the $4 million range so they can fill out their roster. Sure, Harvin was signed, but having to put at least $7-$8 million in 2015 cap allocation on the shelf waiting for Clay has to tie the Bills hands a bit. They could release one of their underperforming OL and get a bit of flexibilty, or ask Mario to restructure (I wonder why we havn't heard more about this), but if they make an offer to another FA and then Clay says OK, it would be interesting to see how that would play out...
  18. I'm talking about more signings after Suh and Clay. They've shedding players now, just to be able to free up cap space to sign guys. They'll have to fill out the roster with low-priced JAGs after the initial "splash week" is over...
  19. I don't see Miami going after any more big $$$ signings after this. Clay will pretty much shoot their wad, while the Bills still have much more work to do...
  20. I think he's working on a long-term contract with the Fish. They have to move cap dollars around and it is more drawn out than simply putting pen to paper. Also. there's no disadvantage to Miami for prolonging this as it ties up the Bills' negotiating stance with other FAs...
  21. It will all depend on the number of clicks he gets. If he can't generate traffic, he'll be out the door...
  22. And yet if the Pats had signed him it would be a hugh coup. They get that benefit of the doubt because they've won--and the Bills have not (yet). That's the extent of logic and analysis that national sports "writers" use, whether its Rodak or any one else. I also get the sense from Rodak/ESPN (as Walker and Timmy were the same) that they think its smart business for web traffic to be snarky and/or "against the wind" to irritate Bills fans (like Schopp as well)...
  23. LOL....put Clay on the Wall of Fame already, in regards to post count traffic to actual production...
  24. And Pat Moran's record continues to be 100%....
