  1. I think we all need to chug a beer...
  2. Brady for sure. I remember fans at Rich Stadium cheering when Brian Cox got hurt in a Fins game, way back when...
  3. Lol! Who gives a $@%t about whether anyone's watching or not. Do you give care about who's watching the Tony's? Do you watch the Bills because other people are watching or because you, yourself enjoy the sport/team?
  4. Still won't watch....but I'll look forward to the recap's here.
  5. He may have told him something...but it was probably wrong!
  6. That's a given. What really bugs me is how biased Hockey Night in Canada is. I always watch them over NBC and I've been really annoyed with their coverage. I realize that having Cherry as their clown prince of first intermission 'entertainment' is going to have some influence on that. But Hughson and Simpson may as well be on the Bruins telecast team (man I miss Bob Cole)...
  7. Sadly, the dog in that avatar probably has more football smarts... Not a big deal. After all, Oliver is still second string (for maybe one more weak, anyway)....
  8. Well...it probably had something to do with Zay Jones not knowing what a route was and Robert Foster only being able to run in a straight line. And don't get me started on Ballooning Benjamin...
  9. Keep that up and the only thing he'll get to spank is his monkey...
  10. That was the old Occidental Chemicals R&D building that then became the Dunlop Tire HQ. It was redeveloped as a hotel in 2017... https://www.hotel-online.com/press_releases/release/developer-turning-former-grand-island-eyesore-into-hotel/
  11. I'd guess former WR Ed Hervey: https://edmontonjournal.com/sports/football/cfl/edmonton-eskimos/the-ex-eskimo-way-former-gm-ed-hervey-turns-handshake-into-cold-shoulder/wcm/416008fa-f32f-4213-92a1-e164873cd416
  12. Won't be a problem. The tractor trailer volume on the bridge is a fraction of what it was back in the hey day of Niagara Falls. And the majority of delivery vehicles will be the equivalent of oversized minivans....
  13. The will and they will... It was a nice run by an over-achieving Blues team but their lack of scoring power has bit them on the ass...
  14. ****! It's going to be that kind of night for the Blues, I'm afraid...
  15. You don't need a roster full of stars--you need four good lines. Balanced scoring and puck possession throughout the lineup, which is what the Sabres had during the 10-game winning streak, is WAY more important than having a handful of big name guys that everyone's heard of. The Sabres have maybe one and a half good forward lines and three good d-men. Filling out the second and third lines should be the goal this year, along with adding another quality player to the back line...
  16. Probably pretty comfortable, too. Especially on those hot summer days... My dad always told a story of an old Asian guy taking a dump in a urinal at a McDonalds. Dad came running into the bathroom needing to take a piss himself and the old guy just smiled up at him and kept going about his business...
  17. The key thing I want to see from Allen is him slowing down and feeling comfortable in the pocket. Too many times he took off running or forced a throw out of haste--usually warranted due to the poor OL play--which was a problem he had at Wyoming as well. That was a big difference between his development and the other first round QBs who often came from much better programs and had better OL and WRs to make the QB more effective/better. Improved OL play and another year of experience will hopefully address his accuracy problem...
  18. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/sports/texans/article/Texans-fire-GM-Brian-Gaine-after-17-months-13961559.php "McNair determined that Gaine was a better personnel man than a general manager and didn’t want to redefine the job with the Texans." What an odd statement. Being a good personnel man is Job One for any GM. You can hire other people for cap management, contracts, etc. I suspect BOB wanted to dictate personnel more than Gaine and ultimately led the coup after thinking he had the GM under his thumb...
  19. IMO, he was waiting to see how the coaching situation played out. It's not a coincidence that he signed the deal within a week of Kruger being formerly introduced as the HC...
  20. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/sports/texas-sports-nation/brian-t-smith/article/Smith-With-Brian-Gaine-s-firing-Texans-give-in-13961064.php?cmpid=chronstrrpc "The timing of Gaine's firing is stunning. After the draft and OTAs. Six weeks before training camp. The Texans looking like the New York Jets ... but worse and more clueless." Glad to see the new standard of incompetence in the NFL is our AFC East rival...
  21. I suspect that's Gisele's Brazilian influence rubbing off...
  22. Apples and oranges. Composing a symphony (70 to 100 musicians, 35 to 50 minutes in length) is nothing--repeat, nothing--like writing a five minute rock/pop song for 3-5 musicians. That said, if I had to pick one name--Miles Davis...
  23. Brady protects himself with his un-equalled field vision and quick release--just like Marino did back in the old Manly-Man days of leather helmet football. I'm confident the ball is out of his hand quicker that when Bradshaw and Staubach played. The only difference is hitting the QB after the ball is gone, which was a less enforced penalty back in the day...
