  1. So being competitive/one and done in the playoffs is the goal? I thought it was the SB, myself. Silly me...
  2. Four years is not that abnormally long. The Pegula's love McBeane and so far with ample justification...
  3. I think this is still a building year as McBeane see it. The realities of W-L may bite them if things don't go as planned this year, but this roster is still not SB quality and I'm sure they (and the Pegula''s) know it...
  4. TSW will survive just fine without you...
  5. Come on LeSean, it's time to move on...
  6. Not as many quality free agent WRs, but certainly the draft is stacked with them... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001039710/article/top-25-free-agents-in-2020-two-quarterbacks-lead-way-for-now
  7. Next year with $90 million in cap money they can sprinkle in FA difference makers with a mature young core. Does anyone really think they're going deep in the playoffs this year? That's not in the cards as I see it, but adding 2-3 guys like Dante Fowler Jr. to this group along with another killer draft could make them a real contender IMO...
  8. Would be a very good option. Pro Bowl alternate last year and has familiarity putting in cold weather conditions... 9. Not sure. But they need a backup swing OT and he has experience as a starter. Pretty hard to find that on cut down day...
  10. Yeah. And many/most of these guys are used to red shirt years...
  11. Yes, all signs point to next year being the real start of what they want this team to look like long-term. Going all out for 2020...
  12. Josh Wells OT from the Jags. Started 5 games last year and sounds like a "process" kind of guy... http://www.nfl.com/player/joshwells/2550416/gamelogs?season=2018 "...In four seasons, Wells played in 39 games with eight starts as a swing tackle after signing with the Jaguars as an undrafted rookie in 2014 out of James Madison. Wells replaced starting left tackle Cam Robinson after he suffered a season-ending knee injury against New England during Week 2 last season. ″It has been a blessing to be here that long, but that’s the nature of the business in always trying to find a way to be the best team in the NFL,″ Wells said. ″So I think I’ve come to understand it from the business side.″
  13. He used his body pretty well on this catch. He wouldn't likely be active on game day and can get stronger with more weight training... http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000001045366/Tyree-Jackson-completes-comeback-with-8-yard-TD-to-David-Sills
  14. Huh? Sills is three inches taller and 10 pounds heavier than Cam...
  15. They were at 88 when they began...
  16. Well, they do have Lotulelei and he is powerful...
  17. They must really like some of the UDFAs like Sills and McLaughlin...
  18. I think Jay's wrong here. Beane likely knew a week ago that no one was trading for Shady. I can totally see them being above board about wanting to help him pick his next team...
  19. Best available punter...
  20. Nope. He's a FA...
  21. IIRC, that was all before training camp. I don't believe the FO or coaching staff has said anything since July...
  22. There might be if teams don't have the cap space to sign a guy to their active roster. Haven't seen it done before (where a guy gets over-paid to be on the PS), but there's a first time for everything...

  24. In ONE season though. That's where I'm coming up dry...
