  1. That reply seems to intelloegent. remember these guys are football players and want to get as much bling as possible.
  2. another issue they may have been considering is the playing of Losman. if jouron wanted to play him and sherman didnt, or the other way around, and Marv dissagreed then that could have played a role in the decision. basically, were gonna be screwed for another 10 years. wer gonna have the same thing happen that happened in Baltimore with the O's. no one is gonna want to come here to play so were gonna have to overpay people, run into salary cap problems and suck for another decade. this next year will be a crusial one!
  3. so if anyone read that article, it said that buffalo fans are becomming more drunk and rowd than ever. the city is earning a bad reputation in the NFL. well heres my guess as to the cause. MAYBE IF WE WIN SOMETIMES, WE WONT NEED TO BE DRUNK ALL THE TIME!
  4. i love ND i wanna go there!
  5. yea we gave him the kets, but took them away and gave them back and then took them away again. this kids head has gotta be so messed up we never gave hiom a fighting chance. i would like to believe hes got a chance to be real good. so i say its not his fault couse we also had a crap defense, somewhat due to injuries, but also had no run game, which was not JPs fault couse Holcom didnt help it all. give the kid another chance, a real chance next year.
  6. hey people are talkin about getiin TO in here. hes even a bigger ass hole. its unlkeley, but if they both come well turn into that team everyone hates. kinda like dallas, but more talented. i dont know if i would want sapp in buffalo or not.
  7. I totally agree. play him until he gets enough experience to be fairly judged. Holcom aint gonna get the job done so we mide as well.
  8. GO ND, i dont think hes good enough to be a NFL coach.
  9. good point! sitting on it and waiting to see what becomes available will bite us in the ass again. lets just make sure we pick the right man this time! its been too long since weve had a brain leading the team. is it just me or does it seem for the past decade the people watching the games would have been able to do a better job running them than the coach? thats how i feal most sundays anyway. whatever, lets just get someone good. i hope its Sherman.
  10. oh thanks. well im not asking what happens when we get people, im asking if anyone thinks a team can restructure this much and still compete in this league? so why dont you answer that one clayboy! i want to hear what you think smarty!
  11. I want to know if anyone thinks we can have a real year next year. or is this one gonna be another "restructuring" year just like the last 8. does anyone think weve gotta a fighting chance with all of these changes to the team. were pretty much starting from scratch!
  12. i like your draft picks especially since the first 4 are linemen! thats the key to next year right?
  13. i see your sceptics point. he hasnt yet shown many glimpses of greatness by a long shot. But look at what happened to manning in the first quarter against the steelers. no line and he completed barely more than half his passes. so dont throw him out just yet. give him a descent line this year, let him play the entire time, and see what happens. its not like weve got anything to lose!
  14. for next year the real key is gonna be the lines. both on offense and defense. weve got losman, good arm and a real good young talent. weve also got willis. when he said he was one of the best backs in the league he may have been right. but with this crap of an o-line to block for him we couldnt get anything done. we saw his explosivness late in the season when henry got hurt last year or before that can't remember. plus weve got lee evans, rosco parish, and josh reed. all three are stong players that can make plays for JP. the key to next years success is picking up a couple free agent linemen and LETTING JP PLAY! holcom just doesnt have the arm to be a starter. this was really apparent when he threw 5 interceptions against the jets. he is a true back up. playing him as a starter to "try to win now" was a mistake that set the team back another year. doh.gif
  15. man i totally agree with you. for next year the real key is gonna be the lines. both on offense and defense. weve got losman, good arm and a real good young talent. weve also got willis. when he said he was one of the best backs in the league he may have been right. but with this crap of an o-line to block for him we couldnt get anything done. we saw his explosivness late in the season when henry got hurt last year or before that can't remember. plus weve got lee evans, rosco parish, and josh reed. all three are stong players that can make plays for JP. the key to next years success is picking up a couple free agent linemen and LETTING JP PLAY! holcom just doesnt have the arm to be a starter. this was really apparent when he threw 5 interceptions against the jets. he is a true back up. playing him as a starter to "try to win now" was a mistake that set the team back another year.
