With a cover-2 style defense, the focus is on speed and attaking the ball right? right. however, the scheme also relies heavily on a run stopper ancoring the D- line. Wtihout a big DT to shut down the opposing run game, the line backing corps has to play the run instead of emphasizing pass coverage and blitzing. The Bills dont blitz, most likely cause they can't. Their D-line (DT) is too small. there isnt enough power to them to force the oline to double teram them and allow LBs to get through and Blitz. for this reason, we must get a big, shut down DT this offseason, whether is be in house, which is a real possibility, FA, or Draft, its a real need for this team. personally i think Mcargo could be this kind of player if he builds up his lower body strength and takes a couple steps forward.

Didnt we draft Yuboty last year as Nate's replacement. Why would we want to draft another CB instead of picking up a cheap FA with some actual experience if we need a CB at all. Supposedly this Yboty guy's got some real talent, and if not for having problems in the beginning of the season, he might have seen some real playing time when McGee was plain like stright poo.

There are definetly gonna be some people saying the game has passed him by if they dont start to win real fast. But i dont think anyone can question what he has done in the past. Its takes talent to get anywhere so saying that he was just in the right place at the right time is like saying the Bill Belechek (sarroy cant spell) is just in the right place at the right time. hes got a few future hall of famers on his team too, but they need a great coach to get them to where they have been over the past five years.
