  1. in the words of many pirates, jarrrr. that does kinda blow, but the BILLS will be better off, im sorry.
  2. also, i would love to see the bills get into the FB position. I think its gonna be a trend in the NFL to bring th FB back into the game. giving him the ball more often and sending him out for passes. if we have someone talented, we can really screw with opposing defenses and give them another legitimate target to cover, freeing up the recievers even more!. innovation would be nice for a change instead of dumb play calling like weve seen for years and years!
  3. AHHH nice point. would be interesting to see it happen. got any specs on him?
  4. as a soon to be PSU student next year, i would love to be able to root on an Alumni star from my school on my team. only watched a little of this kid, mostly in the bowl game this year, but man he was all over the feild and he wasnt even playing he natural position this year. i would love getting this guy. GO Marv! GO BILLS!!!!!!
  5. agreed. were telling him dont expect a new contract cause you are expendable. we dont need you here. do your work and go. get his cocky arse outta here as soon as his contract runs out.
  6. this guys seems like just what we need. big run stuffer with speed and agility. and hes had just enough time in the league to start playing to his potential, but can still easily learn a new system and pick it up quickly. would be an interesting move and better than drafting a DT. hope marv looks at this board lol. dont know bout his character though. he does play next to haynesworth.
  7. be optomistic. were not gonna know anything until the season starts
  8. Im down. Go Bills. Super Bowl 42 here we come!!!!!!!
  9. Tank Tyler. a true nose tackle. this guy is a beast. put up 42 reps on the bench. he could probably be a second round pick. any thoughts?
  10. last i hear was the buffalo is the front runner to get him. and marv changed his mind it appears because spikes may be on the way out and we need some veteran leadership to stabalize this young team.
  11. who is this guy. never heard anything about him. anyone got any answers?
  12. Went to the San Diego game last year. drove up from Olney MD. was amazing. my dad and i are planning on seeing a couple games next year while im in my freshman year at Penn State. i guess hell pick me up on the way up. but im definetly going back. it was my first game and i loved it. Go Buffalo!
  13. agreed. i would take a 3rd rounder for him!
  14. i believe this has already been discussed here. This is not Baltimore or Washington where every player is a huge ass hole. no this is buffalo, where marv and ralph bring in and keep only character players. that means players who understand that when its their turn, theyll get their glory. when schbel is a FA hell get a big fat contract, and he knows it. dont expect a holdout or demanding a new contract from Schobel. remember- CHARACTER PLAYERS
  15. i like your optomistic attitude. but i can only see a couple of the possible solutions working out. probably no new WR except maybe in draft but i doubt it, and dont expect Marv to bring in more than one FA youve ever heard of. however, whomever he does bring in will fit and will work. i can garuntee that. marv's a g!
  16. Oh i agree with you also, that we arent set with those two, especially since we know so little about yuboty. but theres no way clements is worth what its gonna take to keep him. thats all im sayin is hes gonna be gone, but its not eht end of the world. well probably get someone from FA and hell be enough to keep the secondary solid until yuboty or someone else can truely fill that #1 role clements wil almost certaily leave vacant.
  17. in the cover-2 there is no need for total lock down corners. and supposedly thats what nate is, though i wouldnt be surprised if next year with a big new contract, he goes back to good old nate. lol. but the point is, its not necessart in the cover- 2 system for the bills to go spending a ton of money on a super corner. its not how the system works. Weve got McGee and Yuboty and possibly someone else in FA or draft. so let him go.
  18. CHARCTER PLAYERS!! tHATS WHY MARV IS HERE!!! CHARACTER PLAYERS :) :worthy: :worthy:
  19. He is going to bring continuity and stability to a young team. a good signing. and he has shown he can play, with a second year in the system, hes only gonna get better!
  20. By now, everyone here must know, Marv is not gona do what we expect him to. We expected to get a big lineman first round last draft. no one guessed we would get Whitner. no one wrote about how we would get Simpson and Hardgrove or any of the other players we had starting as rookies and new members of the team last year. but i would say it workied out well. I think we need to trust Marv and company because he is a genuine man, working towards the super bowl victory that eluded him for so long. I know were still gonna guess and write some completely ungrounded and bogus hypotheses, but i hope people can get it in their heads that Marv's not destroying this team, hes recreating it and making it into something the whole NFL will one day fear. Hear we come, get ready for the Buffalo Bills!!!!!! Go Bills 07-always!!!! :)
  21. nice question mark. lol, just messing around. but yeah i was sure he was just standing in the backfeild cause he felt like it, maybe wanted to see if he could pull a magic trick and dissapear right before he got tackled in the backfeild. guess he's no hudini
  22. well said jamie. i think his attitude does have something to do with it, because it has been shown time after time that chemistry will impact a team more than talent. just lok at the Redskins. they blow. Willis creates drama on and off the feild. and that damages chemistry. however, i do agree with you that the real reason for the trade is his inconsistant play and inability to play hard on every down. Get Rid Of HIm and get a team guy that will work hard. he whould be more concerned with wins than stats and money. Superbowl over SuperBank!
  23. Yeah and now that hes not flying under the radar anymore and everyone knows about him, there is no chance well get him. Damn i really liked him, good hands, good attitude, good work ethic, and a heck of an athlete. would have made a super team with evans! :censored: :wallbash: :wallbash:
  24. Warren Sapp is really who i was thinking of when writing this post. The Tampa-2 had Warren there to suck up the runners and ancor the line. Hes Big, quick and a good tackler, at least he was in those days, dont really fallow him much anymore. BUt with that style of defense, there has to be a sloid runstopper. the LBs should not have to be relied upon to stop the run.
