My main inquiry?
Why are Felton Huggins and Justin Jenkins in and there's 0 Steve Johnson? From what I've heard/seen he's been doing very well at WR.
And no Terrance? What!?
Brett has also...
Missed all the OTA's
Missed the first weeks of Training Camp
Has to learn a brand new system
Has to develop chemistry with wide receivers
Has to work behind an O-Line that is just developing chemistry
Must get back in shape
Must learn the intricacies of the new defenses he has to face twice a year.
This ain't the NFC, and you're not playing the Vikings and Lions twice a year anymore.
Brett's smart enough (Although, after this debachle I'm having strong thoughts about his intelligence) to learn the playbook, et cetera, but if what Kawika said about Tom Brady was true, I'm pretty sure he won't be afraid to use it on another "Legend".
· Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal in nature
This was legal before?
· Intoxication or other signs of alcohol impairment that results in irresponsible behavior
You can't get drunk at football games anymore?
· Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures
I won't make it in the door
· Interference with the progress of the game (including throwing objects onto the field)
Only seems to happen in Cleveland...
· Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel
Didn't realize this was legal before...
· Verbal or physical harassment of opposing team fans
There goes the entire rockpile
Simply put, if you're under contract, you show the f*ck up to camp, if you want a better contract because you KNOW you're going to produce down the road, prove it now, and get your money when you answer you're damn phone and stop pulling the silent treatment.
Don't be like my ex-girlfriend and ruin a damn good thing.
My Team (The Buffalo Ball Busters)
QB: David Garrard
QB: Brodie Croyle
HB: Marshawn Lynch
HB: Maurice Jones-Drew
HB: Ernest Graham
WR: Terrell Owens
WR: Dwayne Bowe
WR: Amani Toomer (I Have a feeling...)
WR: Bryant Johnson
WR: Drew Bennett
TE: Mercedes Lewis
TE: Derek Schouman (for fun)
K: Shayne Graham
D: Buffalo Bills
Happy with my receivers and TE, on the fence with Marshawn, and semi-disappointed with the D, K, and QB though.
Hardy should be back soon, and I feel that Terrence, Jabari, Leodis and Reggie are solidified as the top 4, not too worried about Will, just wondering what pressure he can give Ashton.
Jason Campbell did great, Skins' looked great for a preseason game, Colts D looked terrible, Utecht's succesor looks good, but can't say much without Peyton there. Skins' D looked pretty OK.
I believe it hurts the overall gel that developed between this team's O-Line this past season, they seem pretty buddy-buddy and just as the gel was starting to hold a piece broke off. Now I'm all for not bending to a whiny demand, (Or, not so whiny in this case, due to the complete silence), but if you finally have a young team that can make some serious noise in the NFL, maaaaybe you should toss some cash at the guy.
Nicely put in all posts. They guys good, but he's not that good. If a bunch of computer programmers and football enthusiasts want to put him as the best LT in the game? Be my guest, but all rankings are based on past performances. He needs at least one more year of solid football before I can consider him elite, and that's coming from (as most of you are) a guy who if given the opportunity would have an all Bills Fantasy Football team
Reverses to Roscoe, taking advantage of the field position that our D will give us, more Marshawn outside runs rather then off tackle/up the gut, and James Hardy/Derek Schouman in the red zone set.
I don't think the Will James thing would be much of a loss. Judging from OTA's and the beginning of camp, I wouldn't be surprised if the CB's are McGee, Greer, McKelvin, Corner, and Youboty.
Let's see...
Crow, a tackle machine, Poz, a smart, speedy, tank, and Kawika, a general beast, with 2 ex-starters as backups?
Oh yeah. Excited about this. But does anyone remember when the cries of "Oh noes! Keith Rivers!?" were still abundant?
