The Fin's are scaring me this off-season... making some pretty big pick-ups...
-
I haven't seen one of these in a while, and I believe the answer from the higher ups in Jauron on Levy are "Nothing." But... I would like to see some resolution on the line, there has to be someone left D/O line wise out there in FA land, so why not bring one in for camp, see how he does, and let him fight it out with some other Linemen? They think it'll work with Nall...

Haven't we been rebuilding since 96? I'm sick of it... let's get to the freaking playoffs. NOW. (But BYoung, the season hasn't started yet) DAMN IT, GET ON THE FIELD AND WIPE THE FLOOR WITH THE PATS.
-
I forgot about Stovall... that'd be a HUGE pick up if Jauron could smack his big ass around a bit...

OL and DL do not concern me as much

Ah, understood. In that case, lose the Willis part, and just stick with the QB part. -
a couple more FA names to throw around

Lavar would be a great addition, but the price tag is through the roof, and I don't think he would get along too well with TKO in the back trying to anchor the end down. -
What's your favorite likely untrue draft rumor?

What about Vince Young falling to the 8th pick and the Bills picking him up? I think that one's funny... but the AJ Hawk one is exciting for me, I like the kid. Hard nosed player, and definitley ready to step up in the NFL, a Lofa Tatupu of sorts. -

Evans and Parrish are definite playmakers. Parrish in the open field is undeniably dangerous, and Evan's speed is all that needs pointed out here. The problem, of course, is not having a quarterback that can get us to the point to make these kinds of plays. Willis McGahee is of course a playmaker, although that is where the O-line troubles me. The kid's got speed and he's got leverage... and as long as Shelton is healthy, he's a nice trump card in the mix. -
Anyone else sick of being made fun...

Holy sh-- that dude from Moon, yeah I'm a senior at MHS. Haha yeah that's me, the one wearing the Wire/Spikes/Parrish jerseys to school? Holy hell I didn't expect to see someone from Moon on here. -
I'm an 18 year old kid in high school. I am relentlessly beaten mentally for wearing my Bledsoe jersey (with Bledsoe taped over and replaced with "parrish, I ain't spending 70 bucks...), my Bills vintage hoodie, the sweatshirt, and so on... Also for wearing my Bills hat every. day. Sure, I somewhat ask for it, living in Pittsburgh and all, but c'mon, it's rough being a Bills fan. Too many horror stories to count, but any that could be shared to make me feel a tid bit better would be appreciated... Thank god I wasn't coherent during the Super Bowl years...

I don't understand everyone's obsession with JP. I think he's a scrub and may never have the mentality to be an NFL quarterback. He's got the skill, but his faced matched that of Mularkey whenever he messed up. He could, of course, do this, but IMHO it would take a great, great deal of time. I think, with the cap room that we have and these trade rumors going around, we give money and JP to a higher up team and trade to get Viney or Cutler, or we just pick up harrington (hahahahhaha) but hey, we'll see folks, we'll see.

It's Crowell, not Haggans, and I find Parrish, Reed to be a better fit

Recent History of Bills 4th rounders....
BuffaloBilliever replied to CoachChuckDickerson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Parrish is great, I will stick with him to the end. The kids got speed and he'll be our second Terrence on return. If he gets open down field, watch out, he made a joke out of the Bengal's secondary in that game. Williams = scrub, and I don't get everyone's obsession with Losman, I think he's no good... Crowell is, as stated by GN, "A great player backing up an excellent player", and Jennings had his time, but I beg to differ with the fourth rounders. Sam Aiken is a great special teams player, Tim Euhus will be a great fit this year with Mark Campbell gone (He's got hands and speed.) Newman, Collins and Black I've never even acknowledged, but Duke should be alright if he takes over for Trey. -
I think with the acquisition of Triplett and Royal we have become much stronger in two key areas. I guarantee Triplett will pick up his game, and Royal will be critical on the line, he seems incredibly psyched to be in a Bills uniform. This, being about my 5th post on this topic, will change once A.J. Hawk is picked up

Way, way too much like my family. I did that exact thing the kid in the JK jersey did when Syracuse won the national championship, and my dad has pretty much that exact same shirt. My grandma is die hard bills (was friends with Bruce SMith's family) and all the above. If Tom is on here can vouche for that.

8th Overall PROBABLY not a DT or OT

Hawk... Hawk... Hawk... Hawk... -
We should probably get something playerwise in return, hell a backup and a low draft pick would be nice. Moulds is wanted, so not a freaking 4th round draft pick. If it comes down to whether we cut him or not, then THAT would work.

Tim Euhus will fit nicely with Royal in double tights now, I have no worry or care for Everett until I know he can play on an NFL level.

Losman, Holcomb, or Nall?

I'll take Willis. Just me though. -
Summing up the offseason so far
BuffaloBilliever replied to Gambler's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This tossing around of QB's has to end. It almost feels like they're trying not to "hurt anyone's feelings" by not just getting rid of Losman and picking up a veteran QB that they KNOW could lead the team. I'm sick of this "maybe" BS. -

Whoever stated the Royal is a vital asset to the blocking scheme is completley right. It's coming back down to a Metzzlarrs oriented offense (Marv may be throwing his two cents in with the coordinators), with Royal holding with the O-Line and Shelton, giving Tim Euhus who is very underrated as a TE with excellent hands and good speed, and Willis ground to make some WC yardage if Losman is in, or even hit Lee down field with the dual threats (Davis and Evans sprinting down field? I smell Holcomb). I'm too excited for next season. Although I know that the Bills have a 1-100000000 chance to get to the playoffs, I want to see what Marv has in store for this team if he doesn't keel over, and to see if the Defense can step it up with the addition of Triplett and the good health of Takeo. I am a pesemistic person, but an optomistic Bills fan. -
Moulds rejects Bills' 2nd request to take paycut

What about Takeo, Roscoe, Troy, and McGahee? I'd throw them with mcgee and them... my opinion... -
Milloy and Campbell released.

I forgot to add that the only reason I have a Coy Wire jersey is because my lucky number is 27 and that's, well of course his number. I know I'll be getting sh-- from Tom on here if he sees this thread. He puts up a good show though, diving on the person when the whistles been blown and everyone is on their way to the sidelines... *chuckle* -

I guess my Coy Wire jersey will be getting some wear this year. (Yes, Coy Wire, got a problem wid dat!? Good special teams player... *cough*) I have always put Tim Euhus above Mark Campbell. The boy is young, he's fast, and he's got hands. It's TG without the skin color, strength, and height... so it's really not like TG at all. But the boy is good. Lawyer will be missed, Sam Adams won't be. The man was in for one play, got blown off the ball, and had to sit down. La'Roi Glover anyone? I think so...
