Updated TBD Whipping Boy List
BuffaloBilliever replied to Typical TBD Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What's wrong with Chris Villarial? He's a pretty decent guard... -
Official: yeah, Martin Nance is on the Vikings PS. Figures, due to the fact they need a tall speedster (snicker) again since Koren and Randy have departed.

The sound of silence is refreshing

I find it laughable that some people think we'll finish DEAD LAST this year. If that happens, hello L.A. Bills/Kings/Whatever. -
The Curse of the Juice

Maybe we needed a different name... but I still believe that The Juice has something to do with this. -

haha, I like the McKinley thing there... I'll get my white candle out. -
Oh, wait, FANTASY draft.. I'd still go with Erik Flowers but I'd actually say reach for Peyton.
-
Erik Flowers.

Remember the Curse of the Babe? That lil' thing that Pats fans talked about sometimes with Babe Ruth heading to those damn Yanks and never winning a Series since? I've finally realized why the Bills haven't done anything since January 8th, 2000. October 3rd 1995 - the verdict is in, O.J. Simpson is "100% not guilty" I love the Juice, but something tells me that a little here and there with the Devil, a few "So are you seriously going to put your entire old franchise team in jeapordy?" and "If your old team never wins a Super Bowl you'll be proved not guilty"'s later, the Curse of the Juice was born. Ever since that date, we have done NOTHING past drafting Erik Flowers, earning zilch in the playoffs and having the Oilers (Titans, whatever) pull that BS Music City Miracle thingy on us. As part of the devil's deal, he takes over the bodies of the referee's during Bill's games, causing crap 15 yard penalties and automatic first downs on 3rd and 34 for the other team and blowing a hard wind every time Rian Lindell has to kick a clutcher. I'm doing more research to back this topic up, stay posted. Damn you Juice, Damn you!

Well sh--, I don't think that "Fast Freddie" is that incredible, and so have a blast Belichek. Feeding off of our crap is all fun and games but when Roscoe burns some Patriot meat, we'll see who's laughing.

List stands at PS - Nance possibly Justin Geisinger - Titans Signed Rashad Baker - Minnesota Viking Eric King - Tennessee Titan Jonathon Smith - New England Patriot Jeff Posey - Washington Redskins Bennie Anderson - Miami Dolphin
-
Nothing on Gates, but I forgot the evident Bennie Anderson - Miami Dolphin Jeff Posey - Washington Redskin Martin Nance isn't on the MV PS yet, he might be heading there though.
-
Figured I saw some of these floating around and decided to keep this as an ubdateable post. Rashad Baker - Minnesota Viking Jonathon Smith - New England Patriot Eric King - Tennessee Titan Others can be added below, looks like the Titan's dove on Eric pretty fast.

Another reason we may have kept 5 safeties

I'm surprised no one has killed bob for the "excels on ST" remark yet. -
Bils 20 Pats 17 Simple As for the others, I beg to differ... ATL beats Carolina TB is correct KC is correct St. Louis in the upset Cle. upsets Tenn Seattle Chi Dallas Zona Giants Wash. Oakland in the upset Houston gets airtime by surprisng the crap out of the Eagles

BRING BACK GASH. I think they kept him not only for his blocking ability but he has fairly decent hands, making him a viable threat in the endzone on PA attempts.

Does Shaud Williams wash the coach's car?
BuffaloBilliever replied to Toledo Bill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have no quarrels with Shaud, he puts his ass on the line against guys who tower over him and he isn't afraid to look like a fool on those 3rd and 37 plays. He even impressed last year on some, gaining back most of that yardage and putting us in to field goal range on a few select plays. He's lithe, can tackle, and is very, very quick. Again, no quarrels with the guy, more power to him -

It's simple as to why they kept Coy Wire over Rashad. Coy gives has been around for about 5 years, knows the system, and although he's not a great player he catches on quickly and can teach others. Baker, who struggled to learn the system and didn't have a huge impact, is not a better mentor to KO and Donte than Coy will be. -
What better nerd than Kelly Holcomb?
-
This kid's a miniature wrecking ball, and with the Titan's dropping him like a bad habit I think he would be a GREAT pick up for the Bills of Buffalo. I watched him and Martin Nance play in college, and both are stellar athletes. This kid can play, he's got a great nose for the ball, and he's an incredible physical specimen.
-
I personally like Shaud Williams, but I was growing fond of Lionel Gates... that play he had in the Carolina game was incredible yet nothing to base a decision on. I thought Rashad Baker was AWFUL, I'm somewhat relieved that Wire made it and he got cut, but Ko Simpson will have his say thrown in there. Other than that, Ezekial will slightly be missed on ST, and Eric King DEFINITLEY should have made it over that sack-of-crap Jabari Greer. R.I.M. (Rest in Miami) Lionel Gates...
-
What's up with this Cieslak thing? I don't get this guy... and I say he gets cut. Reed goes, and I'm banking on Williams to go also even though he's my favorite in the backups. If Stamer gets axed, it's the end of it for special teams, and I'm just glad they're keeping Aiken.
-
THe better team work we have going now? I mean, the blocking is superb up front, and after even mediocre plays, the guys all huddle up and compliment each other n' stuff. I'm pretty impressed, I only saw that on TD's and interceptions last year. Also, Schobel and Royal looked really good last game, along with Tim Anderson (never thought I'd say that) and Willis looked phenomenal.
-
I've been hearing a lot about this guy in the past few weeks of camp. I was excited when they picked him up in the draft, and he's an incredible specimen with his speed and height. He was ranked higher than Donte, and I think he's proved himself slightly better. Anyone agree here? I believe he deserves to at leas tbe above Rashad on the depth-chart

Villarial, Vincent, Holcomb to be cut...
BuffaloBilliever replied to genomich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No way that Villarial gets cut. He's a great guard (although not proven last year) and well he's from my College... haha -
Funny how... wait... No, that Pat's aren't going to be that great this year. With only a stellar backfield in Pass, Dillon, and Brady, there's not much in their secondary that impresses me and their recieving corp went downhill fast. Reche Caldwell is decent but that's about it.
