What was the most painful Buffalo Loss
BuffaloBilliever replied to Tonawanda Troy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Most painful? Is that even a possibility? Even when they win it hurts. Anywho... Probably the MNF game this past year. I wasn't aware during the Super Bowl years, and the Music City fiasco just made me numb to the playoffs. -
I sort of agree... I wouldn't be throwing feces at the wall or anything but it's funny for two reasons. 1, three of our highest paid players would be DE's when we have bigger needs, and 2, everyone's talking about WR's being reaches, but some draft boards have Harvey dropping to the late teens/early twenties. Oh well... not starting this arguement again.

Sterilization I would prefer....

My Bills, My Story: What's YOUR Bills Story?
BuffaloBilliever replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Haven't seen too many TBD'ers on this, plus a friend of mine told me he's going through and voting 1 on every one but his. Seems by the votes that a lot of people are doing that -
Depending on Marshall's rehab, I don't see Denver needing one... nor San Fran. San Fran has good recievers, just no one throwing them the ball. Washington has that Santana Moss character... Pittsburgh has the ex-Super Bowl MVP Hines Ward and the up and coming Santonio Holmes, even though Ben says he wants a big reciever, I guess he forgot he has Heath Miller and Matt Spaeth. I don't see them as needing #1's.... The guys who I see as needing a pretty good one are Seattle since they already have Deion Branch (assuming he can stay healthy), Tampa Bay will most certainly need one in the coming years because Joey Galloway isn't getting younger... which raises the quesiton also what the hell happened to Maurice Stovall? I see the ones needing a legitamite #2 as Buffalo, Baltimore, and New York, with Lee Evans, Mark Clayton/Derrick Mason, and Laverneus Coles as their #1's, respectively. Who legitimately needs a #1? Miami, Philly, Atlanta, Tennesse, and Chicago. Miami has Ted Ginn and.... yeah. Philly has Kevin Curtis and Reggie Brown, both great #2's, Tennessee has.... Justin Gage... and Atlanta has a defense and a dark, black void on the "Offense" side of the depth chart. Chicago picked up Marty Booker, but lost Bernard Berrian and Moose, so I'd say who glaringly needs a #1 are Tennessee, Chicago, Miami and Atlanta. ... I'm not depraving your post whatsoever, just my analysis on who really needs what. It will come down to pure speculation on draft day. If Big Ben pushes for Hardy, if Deion wants a tall guy on the other side, if New York has no faith in Laverneus, if Baltimore doesn't think Demetrius Williams has anything in him, if 3 speedsters and Chris Cooley aren't considered enough for Campbell, if Maurice Stovall hits the third year stride, if Chicago is happy with Marty Booker (I actually started laughing while typing this), if Tennessee doesn't see corner and OL aren't big enough problems, if Atlanta is retarted, if Tuna thinks WR is a glaring hole among the field in that book Holes, et cetra... So many if's going in to draft day, that's why I love talking about it

Bills 85 draft number nine bests all time
BuffaloBilliever replied to K-Gun10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Reich, Reed, and Smith... not half bad. -
I like the newest Draft Tek Sim
BuffaloBilliever replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not bad at all... I still am not a fan of having a ton of money invested in a rotational DE, but that would be a great draft. I've liked Cottam since day 1. He has decent hands, but is an excellent blocker. Hubbard will be great in the run game/bubble screens. And DraftTek must know something about Schmitt with us... because they have had him there for a while if I'm not mistaken. -
Most Hated Dolphin Comment & Best Comeback
BuffaloBilliever replied to marck's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From "Tales From the Buffalo Bills" by Steve Tasker: Mark Duper, "We're going to kick their butts, I guarantee it." Steve Tasker, "Don't write a check with your mouth that your body can't cash." The Bills beat the Dolphins with time running out as Kelly ran it in from the 2 in the 89 season opener. The Dolphins refused to line up to block the extra point. Shula also said "You just got beat by a bad team." -
If he hits 4.5 up I will finally agree to taking a DE or CB at 11 and waiting on him until the second

Favre thinking about coming back...
BuffaloBilliever replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know... I've never been in that situation, but for all the millions he rolls in if it were me I'd probably go out in a blaze of glory rather than fizzle out for a cheap contract. -
Favre thinking about coming back...
BuffaloBilliever replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The media went nuts when he was "finally done" as he said, so now I feel that he's just hanging on to the spotlight as long as he can. If he comes back, it just reminds me of Thurman too much, He could've had a great, meaningful exit from the game with the team and city that embraced him for years and years, or he can go in to a crap situation, watch his numbers plummet, and get that extra cash for the hell of it.
