  1. Good sign here too, is, that the price has dropped for #1 has dropped 4 mil. So what... why even wait until the draft? Rams, you're on the clock!

  3. Hmm, interesting names, should be a telling round.
  4. Julius Jones, TJ Duckett and Maurice Morris, not a bad group, they'll snag a RB 2nd or 3rd.
  5. Amen to that. Up at 5 AM to catch the good trout, bake in the sun til noon with a couple cold ones, clean and gut, grill the fish, some wings, steak for the misses and tofu or whatever the queer Steeler fans eat, then kick back and pass out to the NFL Draft. It's all gravy.
  6. I generally have the same thoughts, but it is exciting to me all the same. I enjoy the heart thumping as Moron walks to the podium and says "with the ___ pick in the 2008 NFL Draft... the Buffalo Bills select..." Plus, I'll be too sunburned and carrying too much trout home by the time the draft starts, I'll need a place to sit and relax
  7. Lets see here... Wings with Blazin' Sauce and my seasalt and garlic blend: Check Queso Dip/Tostito's Scoops: Check 24 pack Molson: Check (Hey... just in case we have another Donte pick ) Flat Screen TV: Check Posluszny throwback: Check Autographed Shane Conlan picture: Check (good luck) Throwback Bills Hat signed by Evans/Tasker: Check Bills Lounge Pants: Check Draft Tracker page: Check (The only thing Street & Smith does right for the draft) Annoying Steeler/Broncos/Eagles fan friends: Check, but they know not to talk when the Bills pick. I am going to stay far, far away from this board on draft day, since the server will crash once we pick someone and 18 posts go up at the same time saying "OMFG TEH BILLZ SELECTED ________" and "Yes I was right you jerkoffs we got _______" and "What kind of motor does __________ have? 40 time?" with a mixture of "WHO THE HELL IS __________!? DOOOOM, MARV IS SENILE, RALPH SHOULD SELL" My wish on draft day is not for who i want the Bills to pick, but for only ONE person to post who was picked and for it not to be a damn race to see who posts it first.
  8. 1. Leodis McKelvin (CB) OK in my book. 2. Jordy Nelson (WR) I agree with devnull here, different skin and different school = easy late 1st/early 2nd 3. Kellen Davis (TE) Good compliment receiving TE to Bobby Royal 4. Xavier Adibi, (LB) Anyone remember pre-FA/combine mocks that had him going to us in the first? 4B. Curtis Johnson, (DE) No clue who he is, but git 'er done Russ/Ghost of Marv.
  9. Yeah... the Colts done won da World Series in 05'!
  10. His consistant 9 TD's a year is impressive, and if he doesn't make it to the end zone, he gets it damn close... but to me if we get him, then it's a battle of ego with Evans vs. Johnson.
  11. Gotcha... that does make sense, but you never know, they say that a player takes 3 years to develop in to his own in the NFL at receiver. Granted, he was drafted high, and SHOULD have put up numbers last year, but I say give him time...
  12. Fast. It was just, damn fast.
  13. Hasn't Dwayne Jarrett been in the league ONE year!? How is that bust worthy!?
  14. I met a couple of the regular TBD'ers at Kenny's tailgate in Philly, but I had my g/f wearing a Brian Westbrook jersey so the regular shunning took place. I mighy rear my ugly head this year, I'll find out soon what my ticket situation is for the season.
  15. Derrick Harvey, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, or Branden Albert. Derrick Harvey is not as good as everyone is making him out to be, DRC is a AA guy who would be good in the late round, and we don't need O-Line depth. Any WR, any CB other than DRC, sure, but we'll see.
  16. LOVE Ezra Butler, he should get more recognition. Arman Shields, AA guy, but great red zone kinda guy (got the hops, that's for sure) Martin Rucker, maybe Other guys I haven't seen, so I won't say anything on them.
  17. Bored, and I recently have a recurring thought about this incident, and wanted to see if anyone else had weird stories of things that have happened to them. As some of you know, I'm hell bent on the charity for my sister, who passed away 4 years ago this May. I was in high school at the time, and, reluctantly, was told to go to a psychologist who visited every Thursday. I was taking it as well as possible, helping others and shunning help from those who offered. The only real bad thing was that I was losing a lot of sleep. This, of course, prompted the thoughts I was going through a much worse time with drug use (no). So one day, I was down at the psychologist, and she brought my mother in (an aide at the school) and said "Your son should head to Staunton Clinic at the hospital for a psychological evaluation, they'll find him some anti-depressants and help him sleep. If you need help finding it, stop in to the ER and they'll give you directions. So, I was taken out of school, and went to the hospital. My dad came, too, leaving work, and we didn't know where it was. My mother, unsure, went up to the counter at the ER and said "My son has been taken out of school and is in need of a psychological evaluation." Now the fun began. The people there took it as "this kid was kicked out of school cause he went psycho." I was escorted by two very lovely nurses and one very beastly security guard to, what I thought, was Staunton Clinic. I walked in to a room with about 20 video cameras and had a metal detector put up to me. The officer abruptly asks me "did you bring your lighter and smokes today kid?" I, not understanding the situation, jokingly said "no, I left them at home." Dead Silence. I was told to go in to a small room, strip down, and put on a hospital gown. I did so, still unknowing, and came out. I was immediately put in to a padded cell, sat down on a hard rubber "bed", and looked out the 2 by 2 barred window at the bushes outside. ... 3 hours later, after being constantly kept awake by the woman banging her head on the wall by me every 6 seconds (Literally, I counted) and muttering Satanic messages, a doctor comes in. He sits down as far away from me as possible, and starts rattling off questions: "Where do you cut yourself at night? Who have you thought about killing? Are you going to kill yourself? What the hells your problem?" None of these, of course, was I allowed to answer without him bursting in or telling me what I was thinking, and as he was getting up and saying "Well we're going to strip you down, give you a drug test and see what you're taking," I finally spoke up and said "excuse me sir, is this Staunton Clinic?" Count out 2 minutes in your head, and that is how long the man stared at me. He didn't say a word, turned around, and walked out, leaving the door open. I heard mumbling, and a woman came in and said "We'll bring someone in shortly to speak with you." I could've sued, could've raised hell, but I was entirely to surprised/amused by the situation to really do anything. Again, messed up story, but want to know if anything else like this happens to people. If not, then enjoy what I had to go through for 6 hours of my young life
  18. You heard the same stuff too huh? In retrospect, the guy was... an UIFL star, an IFL star, an EFL star, and now he's coming in to his own in the NFL. If you have THAT much talent and that much time, then of course you're going to have the know how to do what in certain situations, but physically and potentially, there's no shying away from what Marshawn brings to the table. I don't look at it as who's better, I look at it as "who's going to knock someone over for the extra yard this down?"
  19. Ashton Youboty, Josh Reed, Teyo Johnson, or Kyle Williams.
  20. Browns got Joe Thomas, a backup QB and a decent corner. Giants, on the other hand got Aaron Ross and Jay Alford to start on D, with Steve Smith a slotty, Kevin Boss a great TE and Ahmad Bradshaw a complete and ungodly steal in the 7th. We got a starting QB/HB (cornerstones of the O), starting MLB, backup HB, decent FB/TE, solid and hopefully phenomenal ST player in Wendling, and well, I heard CJ Ah You flips a mean burger.
  21. It would be OK to take a WR in the first round? I'm still confused by this.
  22. *gasp* You looked at film and have actually seen him play!? THERE'S a first for draft topic on this board... I have to say, though, he's a workout warrior, will go in the first, but I will not be happy with that pick if we get him.
  23. I've heard the KC - Losman speculation, the Lito Sheppard/Kelsay thing was made up by someone here as a thought, heard nothing about Roy Williams but it's vaguely possible, and I hate New England.
