Where did the "hit the deer" get reported? Police now saying no deer was found in the area. Troopers found the vehicle, a 2011 Mercedes Maybach, abandoned in the median strip with damage to its front end. Whoever had been driving it was no longer at the scene, Procopio said. Investigation indicates the Mercedes is registered to Brandon Spikes. No deer was located. https://www.bostonherald.com/news_opinion/local_coverage/herald_bulldog/2015/06/staties_probe_crash_involving_patriots_linebacker

Presents a strong case against the economic costs of overseas intervention. And even though he's highly critical of hillary as SoS, Defense Contractor Tom types will attack him fearing their entry-level data entry jobs would be threatened. -
Not a single one of those 6 team appearances happens without him.

So who's the 3rd loss prediction, or can't this fan add? -
Either the DoD doesn't know the difference or theyre purposely being misleading when they say "such and such team" is honoring armed forces without disclosing its a paid advertisement. Methinks its the latter as it serves as a better recruiting tool...and people shouldnt kid themselves, that is their primary motive.
-
It was the DoD who wanted to use the time for military PR. If they dont pay any more you wont see any more than token references before national anthem. Teams would be leaving too much money on the table from other sponsors otherwise I think it's a form of advertising more than honoring. You don't pay people to honor someone....DoD knows this and chooses to pay. If the league is going to give out freebie honories theres a whole lot of other worthy candidates too.

Look Edith, POTUS is Drawing Another Line....
truth on hold replied to Keukasmallies's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Think, think for a moment for yourself, instead of letting the liars at fox and wall street journal (both owned by Murdoch) think for you. Why, why would Assad order a chemical strike on civilians who were no threat to them, knowing it would bring US air and ground support into the war, when at the time he was winning the war and just days before inspectors were arriving? This wreaks of false flag. And it turns out enforcement of the red line would have really meant attacking our alleged ally Turkey. ----- Obamas change of mind had its origins at Porton Down, the defence laboratory in Wiltshire. British intelligence had obtained a sample of the sarin used in the 21 August attack and analysis demonstrated that the gas used didnt match the batches known to exist in the Syrian armys chemical weapons arsenal. The message that the case against Syria wouldnt hold up was quickly relayed to the US joint chiefs of staff. The British report heightened doubts inside the Pentagon; the joint chiefs were already preparing to warn Obama that his plans for a far-reaching bomb and missile attack on Syrias infrastructure could lead to a wider war in the Middle East. As a consequence the American officers delivered a last-minute caution to the president, which, in their view, eventually led to his cancelling the attack. For months there had been acute concern among senior military leaders and the intelligence community about the role in the war of Syrias neighbours, especially Turkey. Prime Minister Recep Erdoğan was known to be supporting the al-Nusra Front, a jihadist faction among the rebel opposition, as well as other Islamist rebel groups. We knew there were some in the Turkish government, a former senior US intelligence official, who has access to current intelligence, told me, who believed they could get Assads nuts in a vice by dabbling with a sarin attack inside Syria and forcing Obama to make good on his red line threat." http://www.lrb.co.uk/v36/n08/seymour-m-hersh/the-red-line-and-the-rat-line -

Lol at US policy based on "moral" activism. Explain then why we: - have funded Israeli apartheid for decades - helped remove democratically elected leaders in places like Iran and Ukraine - why do we support "rebels" in Syria and help bomb them in Yemen? Heck per that last point since the Hoothis in Yemen were only effective ally fighting al Qaeda there, and the blowback from our support of Israel and Saudis, not only is our foreign policy not moral, its not even in our own self preservation interests. Wake up man, foreign policy IS NOT determined by moral and self preservation considerations. -

Your crap superficial theory doesnt stand up against reality. We haven't bombed south america and they seem to be doing ok. The closest we came to involvement in Europe in decades was support for Ukraine "rebels" in their violent overthrow of a democratically elected leader; how's that working out? Our agenda of intervention even went beyond the EU's (e.g. Victoria Nuland's "f@ the EU" comment). And has been demonstrated repeatedly our convoluted history of intervention in Mideast has served no interests other than big oil and defense lobby, Israeli apartheid, and Saudi extremism, and most recently provided conditions for the rise of ISIS. Did you stop to think that maybe our foreign policy makes us the "bad actor"? -

Out of all the ignorant posts this one takes the cake: those places are a mess because of intervention by the US and her "allies". -

The main cheerleaders for US intervention don't believe that either, the foreign interests (saudis, israelis, etc) want us supporting their wars, the defense lobbyists have an economic interest. They sell that crap about "global jihad coming to America" to pacify paranoid jack asses like TYTT, sitting at home with a gun pointed at the door thinking the boogeyman is out there. as if there's anything in that run down trailer of his anyone would want anyway -

Yeah we really "took the fight to them" by: - removing a democratically elected leader in Iran - enabling Israel's heinous occupation of an indigenous people - supporting the trillion dollar house of Saud's Wahabi extremism - invading Iraq on false premises - destablizing Syria, and along with that with invading Iraq giving rise to ISIS -

love this guy, he speaks the truth and he's pro-american. which means the bottom feeders on this board will attack him.... The former Rhode Island senator and governor, speaking to about 60 students and others at George Mason University, recalled his 2002 vote against giving Bush broad authority to wage war in Iraq; Chafee was then a Republican and the sole no vote in his caucus. Wednesday, he mentioned three reasons for his opposition: He didn’t want the country to repeat the mistakes of the Vietnam War, he did not trust the Bush administration and he found its war supporters misleading and worse. “I learned in the first nine months of the Bush-Cheney administration prior to September 11th not to trust them at their word,” Chafee said. Neoconservatives promoting the war “didn’t have the guts to argue their points straight up to the American people,” he charged. “They knew there were no weapons of mass destruction. They wanted their war badly enough to purposely deceive us.” Read more here: http://www.mcclatchydc.com/2015/06/03/268744/chafee-enters-presidential-race.html#storylink=cpy -

Well now that's a shock. A candidate who's rational and pro-American. ----- During his speech, Chafee highlighted his strong opposition to military intervention in the Middle East, saying, "we have to find a way to wage peace." He said drone strikes weren't working in the region. And he also said, "We must deliberately and carefully extricate ourselves from expensive wars," Chafee said. "Just think of how better this money could be spent." Chafee stressed using that money for investment within America's borders. "Education infrastructure, healthcare, environmental stewardship and a strong middle class are Americans' priorities." -

Why does everyone think karlos is such a lock? He has an odd running style, like a receiver running a reverse. http://youtu.be/vnaRCN6Vd_U I hear rex wasn't a fan of brown due to fumbling issues, but in preseason he may look like he's worked on it. Seems to be the total package otherwise. -

Garoppolo and Brady split reps at Patriots OTAs
truth on hold replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brady has problematic circumstances of his own coming off a humilating rules scandal, which cost the team $1 million, his services for 4 games, and 1st round draft pick. Thats huge. Kraft backed off his threat to litigate because he discovered the allegation were true....I see no reason otherwise not to challenge such a huge fine. Don't think for a minute kraft and bellichick won't hold that against him.
